My Story
Hi, I have been a vertigo sufferer for many years and am at the point in my life that I have decided to take control of my life back in what ever ways I can!

Hi, my name is Sharyn McWilliams and I’m joining the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA) to help raise awareness about the challenges of living with a vestibular disorder. I have suffered with some type of balance disorder for a very long time. For the past two years my vertigo has been continuous and has stopped me from doing many things that I love, including exercise. I am doing the 5k Dizzy Dash as a way to raise awareness of vestibular disorders and to prove to myself that I can still do the things I enjoy.

Vestibular disorders affect millions of people each year, often in debilitating ways. Dizziness, vertigo, and ringing in the ears are just some of the symptoms of a vestibular disorder, and while some people recover, others suffer to some degree their entire lives.

As you can see, my personal goal is to raise modest $200.  Your support will help.  Your donation will help me raise awareness about vestibular disorders. Not only will you help me achieve my goal, you’ll also help the Vestibular Disorders Association make important advances for patients.

Just click on the "DONATE NOW" button below to contribute today. You will need to click on "CONTINUE" in order to complete the transaction. With your help we can improve the quality of life for people suffering from inner ear balance disorders.

Thank you for your support. Together we will make a difference!
