Idiopathic Mal de Debarquement Syndrome
The purpose of this study is to characterize the subset of patients who suffer from dizziness having certain qualities, identified below. This study aims to learn more about the possible causes, treatments, and prognosis for patients with this syndrome.

Participation: this study is currently recruiting study subjects who have the following characteristics:
(1) The dizziness must be experienced as a rocking sensation as if on a boat (and must not be experienced as a sensation characterized by spinning, fainting, or lightheadedness).
(2) The disorder has to have been present for six months or longer.
(3) The disorder MUST be made worse by standing still and be made BETTER with movement.
(4) The disorder must be present with eyes open or closed.
(5) The symptoms must be more or less constant.
Involvement of study subjects: This study is based solely on a case review. Participants will be asked to provide medical histories and test results. They will also be asked to fill out a questionnaire about symptoms. All personal information will remain private.
