Participant Page: The Dizzy Doc
As most of you know, I have spent the last 3 decades committed to helping patients with balance disorders and vertigo in the Washington, DC Metro area. Several months ago, I was asked to join the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA) Board of Directors. VEDA is the only international nonprofit that provides support for those individuals dealing with balance disorders and vertigo. VEDA has been instrumental in guiding many patients to see me for these disorders over the last 25 years. I decided to become more involved to help take the organization to the next level. I want to add my medical experience to this group of volunteers which consists of audiologists, physical therapist, other medical professionals, as well as patients.
VEDA is a non-profit organization who depends solely on donations and membership dues in order to continue their mission of informing, educating and advocating on behalf of the vestibular community.
Balance Awareness Week occurs this September and is the main campaign of the year to seek donations. I am asking you to contribute to VEDA and help those 69 million individuals who will suffer from some sort of balance disorder or vertigo in their lifetime.
Thank you for your help,
Dr. Fitz, “The Dizzy Doc”
