A Dizzy Dash for a Dizzy Wife
My Story
This year, during Balance Awareness Week, September 14-20, 2015, I'll be doing the Dizzy Dash 5K to help VEDA raise awareness about the challenges of living with a vestibular disorder.

Vestibular disorders affect millions of people each year, often in debilitating ways. Dizziness, vertigo, and ringing in the ears are just some of the symptoms of a vestibular disorder, and though some people recover, others suffer to some degree their entire lives. The goal of Balance Awareness Week is to reduce the time it takes to diagnose a vestibular disorder.

As many of you know, my wife has suffered from vestibular problems for many years. Resources such as those provided by VEDA, the Vestibular Disorders Association, helped her understand what was happening and what she could do to improve her recovery. My company - Audigy Group - has been supportive of VEDA and their efforts. Audigy serves many people with vestibular disorders.

VEDA plays a critical role in helping people understand their symptoms, connect them with qualified medical specialists, and provide a support network so they are not suffering alone.

As you can see, my personal goal is to raise $250. Your support will help me achieve my goal, and you’ll also help VEDA make important advances for patients. This campaign runs until October 31, 2015.
