My Story
What do I have in common with Bryce Salvador (NHL player), Jason Day (golfer) and Mark Cuban (Entrepreneur, Shark). We all have vestibular disorders!

The best gift you can give me for my upcoming big birthday is support of VEDA in their quest to continue providing a clearing house of the most current information on vestibular disorders.

I have suffered since 2007 and am very fortunate to have had great medical professionals (I have seen over 15 at last count) . It often takes 7 doctors to just get a diagnosis!

I cannot go to the dentist or hairdresser without having a problem. I can't stand in a line for a movie or at the airport. But I am a lucky one to have had progress with the help of Dr. Cathy, the young guru neurologist in NY and great vestibular therapists - Jen in NYC, Sue in Stamford and the amazing Kathy in Newton.  All have helped me learn how to cope and retrain my brain.  And I found most of their names through VEDA!

For all of you with vertigo or other related disorders, the VEDA site has been a great resource.   69 million Americans are afflicted with vestibular disorders. We are working to help people engage in life and work and family while they battle everyday. VEDA improves efficiency in diagnosis and information.  Please help me support this terrific organization which has helped me so much.

I am here to speak with anyone who is suffering - YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
