My Story
As a vestibular professional and member of VEDA's board of directors, I'm on a personal campaign to defeat dizziness.
Welcome to my personal campaign page, and thanks for helping me defeat dizziness by supporting the Vestibular Disorders Association during Balance Awareness Week!

I have dedicated my professional life to helping vestibular patients and professionals defeat dizziness, and now I'm joining with the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA) so I can make even more of an impact.

I joined VEDA's board of directors because I believe in their mission: to inform, support and advocate for the vestibular community. As many of you know, vestibular (inner ear) balance disorders impact hundreds of thousands of people in ways that are invisible to others. Symptoms like dizziness, disorientation, vertigo and ringing in the ears are just some of the signs of a vestibular disorder. Many people go undiagnosed for years, yet their symptoms make it difficult for them to balance, concentrate, and do many very basic tasks such as going to the store and cleaning the house.

By raising awareness we can help people recognize that they are not alone, and when patients advocate for themselves we can join together to decrease the time it takes to diagnose a vestibular disorder and improve treatment outcomes for thousands of dizzy patients.

Your donation - of any size - will help VEDA reach out to more people who are suffering from inner ear balance disorders while advocating for improved training of health care providers and increased recognition of vestibular disorders by insurance companies and the government.

Thanks for supporting my cause!

This Page is 22nd out of the 48 fundraisers taking part in event.
