Hi -  I have Benign Positional Vertigo and migraines as well as other things.  I have had what I thought a severe reaction to a pneumonia shot in 2017 as well as flu shot that same year and the following two years.  I had muscular weakness in legs and severe pain all over as well as debilitating vertigo and migraines which lasted 3.5 years.  Am now trying to make decision about getting Pfizer vaccine.    Not sure I want to stay in for another two years or so as friends and family are very important to me.   I have even lost some friends over my hesitation over it.  Dr said there are some people who are just very sensitive to vaccines and I could be one of them.  However, she never confirmed it was from the vaccines.    I have read all of these posts and am just wondering if people's problems like the vertigo etc. are improving.  If so, can you please let me know as this decision is causing me much stress and anxiety.  I was told MRNA vaccines are different than the others so maybe they won't cause long term effects.

Hi,

I received the Pfizer vax.  I had vertigo after the first shot and recovered quickly.  13 days after the second shot I woke up with severe vertigo and dizziness.  I've had it for 8 weeks and I've been at home recovering.  I have not driven.  They are both better, but still there.  I know of many, many people on another forum who have gotten hearing loss, tinnitus, neuro symptoms and vertigo after the shots.  Weigh the pros and cons carefully.  I'm not sure I would do this again.  I had tinnitus, hearing loss and hyperacusis start during the pandemic.  I was adjusting, but the vertigo after the shots was debilitating.

Hi everyone;

these last three days have been really awful. My sensation is that, as time goes by, symptoms are getting worse. I feel my mouth is like under unaesthetic, the neck is super stiff, tingling all over the body, the head spinning like crazy, my ears feel like I'm under water and my sight blurred. I feel so anxious and can't reason straight. I'm taking supplements C, D, Magnesium, antiinflammatory pills, pills for vertigoes but without a ratio at any time urged by panic. I normally suffer from reumathoid artritis and hypothiroidism and have suffered from dizziness but once or twice a week and was manageable now I feel I have no control over these symptoms and feel it's unfair dealing with all this now. Yesterday I went to my doctor, who, as i expected, rejected the idea of the vaccine causing this.

Sorry for the vent but after a month I'm wondering if this will ever go away and how I will cope. I need to work. i'm a teacher and right now I can't even concentrate on a shopping list.

@teresawarren40

Thanks so much for your input.  I have not had vertigo for about a year now and only a few migraines.  And my joint pain and muscular weakness have gotten so much better.  So afraid of going backwards.  Sorry to hear you still have it.  I know how debilitating it can be.  I hope you recover soon.

I am hoping someone can relate to my experience thus far.

in January I tested positive for covid 19.

First I felt flu like for a couple of days but was mostly fine. A few days later I started to get awful migraines throbbing in my temples a long with dizziness and brain fog.

I do suffer with bouts of vertigo from time to time normally and have issues with my sinuses.

Fast forward to last Friday- I had my first Pfizer vaccine. Nothing more than an achey arm.

A few days later I started to get the dizziness again and now have developed the throbbing in the right side of my head and seem to be having Positional vertigo and feeling more off balance.

Does this sound familiar. I am currently so upset that I had the vaccine. Had I have known any of this was a possibility to come back I never would have gotten it any have already decided I will not be getting my second dose
