Hello.
After the second Pfizer vaccine, a week later, I started having episodes of vertigo, numbness in the hands, neck and head, indigestion, the feeling is very bad, my doctor examined me and all the tests went well.
I am 51 years old and I have never had any health problems, I exercise 4 times a week, for the first time in my life I have such symptoms and I am scared, does anyone have a similar experience? How long can this situation last? Do I need to tell my doctor anything?

Hi, I'm 49 female and have almost the same symptom as you mentioned.  After the vaccination with Pfizer, I felt itchiness everywhere within the first 40 minutes but it's gone within 2 hours.  Then I had pain on the injection site for 2 days.  Day 4-6, I had mild persistent headache (especially when bending down).  Day 6 until today (Day 12), I have been having some dizziness (not often), pin and needles and numbness (started from legs and now on hands arm lips). I'm pretty healthy in general.  I'm allergic to several things but not severely.  My doctor will call me tomorrow to discuss.   Sorry I'm not help here and I'm scared as well.  I hope this is temporary.

Hi,

There's lots of us on the Covid-19 vaccine side effects thread, if you want to hop on over.  I too had issues after the Pfizer vax.

Hi, I had my first Pfizer dose on Wednesday 2nd June - I got an instant headache which I've now had for 3 1/2 days and Friday (last night) I started to get palpitations and a tight feeling in my chest. Is this quite normal or do I need to do something about it? If this all gets worse after the 2nd dose, I'm really not sure I want it at all 😒

@dance4life  If I were you, I wouldn't get that second vaccine shot. I have had headaches, Dizziness, increased anxiety and Lightheadedness every since 5 minutes after the 2nd Pfizer vaccine shot. I had an adverse reaction to the 2nd shot. No issues after my first.

Under the advice of a respected holistic doctor, this is what I am doing to get rid of the awful month long (so far) side effects I have been having:

3000 mg a day of NAC

1000 mg a day of alpha lipoic acid

3000 mg a day of omega 3s (fish oil)

lots of ginger, turmeric and dandelion teas.  Homemade is better, if not get good quality.

This seems to be working for me. I am starting to have more good days than bad.

I am in no way saying everyone should do this, as I am not a doctor. I am just saying this is what is working for me and if you want to try it maybe discuss with your health care provider.

Hi, i had my pfizer 2nd dose on 30th Aug and had little hand pain for 1-2 days after the dose, no other symptoms. Week after the 2nd dose i started getting left hand pain, chest pain and palpitations all of a sudden and doesn't go away. Also, feeling anxious and unable to control thoughts. It seems like your symptoms are same as mine. Are you settled now and how many days it took for you? Thanks

First Covid vaccine (beginning of Aug 2021) I had cold symptoms chills headache coughing sneezing. I was very hesitant to get the second vaccine(End of Aug 2921)but afterwards my left foot started vibrating and felt like I was standing on a vibrating phone, soon after I had muscle twitching in my calves and pins and needles. I now have muscle twitching in my left arm the same arm the vaccine was given in as well as blood pressure issues. I have always had normal blood pressure and my blood pressure has been very concerning and high.I’m having a difficult time getting into a doctor. I spoke with one doctor virtually today who said it sounded as though I was having a mild reaction to the Covid vaccine that was causing inflamed nerves. He suggested I take 800 mg of ibuprofen every 8 hours for the next 5 days and see how things go.
also really interesting I got the doctors note from the virtual visit and he wrote it up completely differently saying I had occasional pins and needles in my legs. I’m telling you I have had this going on pretty constantly for the last three weeks.  It’s really hard going to sleep when you start feeling pins and needles and pressure on your chest and your arm is twitching. Anyone have any useful tips on what to do?

Got Pfizer 1st dose end of July. My symptoms have been as follows: within 30 min my hands went numb, I felt dizzy and like I was going to faint then hot and cold sweats. (I rarely sweat when exercising). Then crushing abdominal pain by that I mean my entire abdomen seized up and felt like I was being stabbed. Severe migraine, hives, and then starting that night the inability to even stay awake by the next day heart symptoms came into play (no prior heart issues) severe deep chest pain with dizziness and electrical surges to my limbs. As well as heart palpitations and a rapid heart beat. After day 4 the abdominal pain subsided from seizing to waves. All other symptoms still present. Day 5 the numbness and tingling in my hands progressed to my entire body head to toe and 7 weeks later still have but now sometimes it’s either whole body or just the right half head to toe. Here’s where it gets weird the side that’s numb is cold to the touch while the other half of my body is warm. Day 6 I went to the ER blood tests and ekg normal so subsequently sent home. Day 7 my tongue swells to 3 times it’s size with a metallic taste that lasted 2 days. Hives on and off legs and arms. Now to current still have all symptoms had another er visit mid august for my heart as I thought I was going to faint. Again ekg and blood tests normal. Sent home.  See my regular doctor who ordered a holster on my heart as well as gastroenterology and immunology referrals. I noticed a pattern of my heart symptoms getting worse from sitting to standing. I exercise 2 hrs a day was no longer able to complete as I would get dizzy and faint. 7 day holster recorded 7 days ago a event that caused the monitor company to tell me I need to rush to the er but didn’t tell me why. Went to ER where they immediately said I needed to be admitted to the hospital where the cardiologist informed me my event on the monitor should have left me unconscious. They did a ultrasound on my legs to check for blood clots. Blood tests and echo relatively normal. I was then informed the event recorded from sitting bpm around 70 went up to close to 300 bpm for 14 beats in vtach. This could have easily caused sudden cardiac arrest which is why they admitted me. No cause was found after several days. Saw a gastroenterologist 2 days ago they said in order to be tested for anything autoimmune related as I’ve noticed many with my symptoms have Eds/MCAS/Pots….that I could only be diagnosed by a immunologist. I call to see why it’s been a month and my immunology referral is still on a waitlist . They said there’s nothing I can do even though my symptoms are now life or death. Meanwhile having to go through hoops to get in with my pcp to get a cardiologist referral to have another heart monitor test and a emergency electro physio test done. My heart rate constantly jumps up and down by over 70 beats right now. I’m scared that while waiting for these referrals I could have another heart event that this time I may not live through. If anyone has any ideas or hope would be greatly appreciated. Stats before vaccine I’m a 37 year old female I work out 5-6 days a week with a toddler at home abd was healthy only previous diagnosis being asthma and allergies and a undiagnosed auto immune disorder for 20 years no one has ever taken seriously enough to figure out which one. The cdc called me via v safe and advised against the second dose as well as my primary doctor. Only issue is that the state I live in and county have mandated full vaccination so now I’m stuck not being able to go anywhere or work even though it’s medically not advisable……I feel like I’m going to be a statistic and leave my toddler without a mom. Not to mention my life insurance will be null and void if it’s covid or covid vaccine related…..

Hi, I found this forum upon doing a general web search.

Like the person who posted first, I'm a 51 year old in good health. (Other than the fact that I don't exercise 4 times a week!) I did have COVID in February despite being careful, and I was very excited to get my vaccine. I got the Moderna vaccine in April... within about 5 minutes after the jab, I felt tingling in my hands and feet. It subsided probably that night, but about two weeks later, the tingling in my hands and feet came back. It was random when it would come and go and which extremit(ies) it would hit, and sometimes would affect a leg too. Not sure how much later, but maybe a week or two later, I started noticing the left side of my face and left side of my lips sometimes felt a slight bit numb.

I did get referred to a neurologist, who did a slew of blood tests and an MRI. Nothing "remarkable."

Don't want to bum anyone here out, but I've had symptoms of some sort pretty much daily since. (Now it's Sept. 19.) I haven't had my 2nd dose of Moderna (my antibodies tested quite high about a month ago) and my doctors suggested I wait and one suggested I wait until Moderna puts out a lower-dose booster. I need to check with them about their advice as I'll now probably need a medical exemption to Biden's vaccine mandate, plus I don't know if Delta and other variants coming make them change their tune.

My symptoms have lessened, and usually (at least once a day!) I think to myself I'll just go ahead and get the vaccine and stop thinking about it, esp. since I'm a generally pro-vax person, but then my cheek will feel slightly numb again and I think twice again. I really am not much bothered by the remaining tingling/numbness, but I don't want to worsen things.
