Details

Dr. Dutson is an Upper Cervical Chiropractor who focuses exclusively on the Cranial Cervical Junction. Before moving to Texas, Dr. Dutson practiced general chiropractic in Idaho for 20 years. While there he was appointed by the Governor to the Idaho Board of Chiropractic Examiners and also served on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. While practicing in Idaho, Dr. D used to refer difficult and severe cases to an upper cervical chiropractor because he would often see them obtain amazing results in a relatively short period of time. He observed that it was not uncommon for patients who received upper cervical care to respond faster, with fewer treatments and the results usually lasted without requiring ongoing adjustments. It was this personal experience that drove Dr. Dutson to return for advanced, post-graduate training in upper cervical care and the neurology of the Cranio-Cervical Junction (head, upper neck, and brainstem.) Even after all these years, he is still passionate about keeping up with the latest research, advancing his knowledge and improving the patient experience. Dr. Dutson provides gentle and precise care at the CranioCervical junction (CCJ) with the goal of achieving the best results possible for each patient. You will often hear him say "You can't find what you aren't looking for." This caused Dr. Dutson to upgrade to a Cone Beam CT (CBCT) which provides patients with state of the art 3D imaging increasing the accuracy of the CCJ analysis used to treat them resulting in even better outcomes.
