More than 50% of our website visitors use a mobile device, so we upgraded our website for optimal viewing on smartphones and tablets. We also made sure that when people open V-News (our monthly e-newsletter) on a mobile device they don't need a magnifying glass to see it!
VeDA engaged with a marketing consultant to undergo a strategic brand evaluation. That means we reached out to our stakeholders (you!) and asked you what you want and need from us to make sure we are delivering valuable programs and communicating in a way that engages people in community. One outcome of this process is our new logo, a simple word mark that says, whatever stage of your vestibular journey you are in, you can regain a life rebalanced.
online support groups
Recognizing a need to provide support to vestibular patients who can't leave their home and/or don't have a local support group available to them, VeDA started online support groups. Led by patient volunteers, online support groups use videoconferencing technology to so patients can share and learn from each other in real-time.
disability webinar & Infographic
Navigating the disability insurance process is complicated. VeDA's new disability webinar and inforgraphic explain the differences between long-term, short-term and social security disability insurance, and give you tips for how to apply.
legislative advocacy toolkit
VeDA recognizes the importance of having an impact on public policy that affects funding for vestibular research and insurance coverage for vestibular testing and treatment. So we created a plan to launch grassroots efforts to engage the vestibular community in making our voice heard in Washington DC.
