That is good that no disorder have found. And did they make the CT and MR with contrast or as native?
I would also like to do these checks, but it is not as easy in this situation. But actually I think as many of here mentioned that no deviation showed in any of the check: blood test, MR, CT or etc.
So who knows what is it but it will hopefully gone...
@teresawarren40 the average recovery time for what specifically? How did you arrive at that conclusion?Â
I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon this site - I thought I was losing my mind. First Pfizer vaccine was no problem at all other than a sore arm.
The second one three weeks later gave me flu-like symptoms for a couple of days. Still felt a bit out of sorts for several days later (fatigue, headache, a bit foggy headed, and oddly enough, my ears both ached a bit). Then out of the blue, two weeks later, I woke up in the middle of the night with a start. Within moments, my heart was pounding and I was having a full-fledged panic attack (I know what one is like, as I used to deal with them years ago). For 30 minutes I paced around my house trying to decide if I should dial 911 or drive to the ER. I was sure it was just panic so stay home won. An hour later, I was back in bed where I tossed and turned until it was time to work.Â
Every day since (although diminishing quite a bit), I have had bouts of anxiety throughout the day and an occasional midnight wakening. AND THE MOST STRANGE AND VIVID DREAMS.Â
I've long dealt with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, but I've never been diagnosed (or even evaluated for - that I'm aware of) with a vestibular issue. Although for years, I have experienced infrequent experiences of about a 1-2 second dizzy feeling. Nothing ever found and just always been blamed on anxietyÂ
Does anyone know if vestibular issues have ever been demonstrated to be a root cause of generalized anxiety and/or panic?Â
I'm wondering if the vaccine somehow had an effect on my vestibular system, thereby amplifying my anxiety... and what I should do next (oh, how I would love to be completely rid of GAD).Â
Thanks again for allowing me the chance to vent! I feel better having read many of your experiences.
Â
BTW: 58 year old man in pretty good health. Diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder about 30 years ago thanks to a panic attack that hit me out of the blue. I've pretty much been dealing with some level of anxiety since. It sucks.

Just hit 7 weeks since dizziness began 2 weeks after 1st Pfizer shot. I did get the 2nd shot. Dizziness was never severe but it's present. Getting real old!!
Â
Â
had mri scan and ct scan on head
nothing found but my ent said it is from reaction from vaccine!
It doesn't improve things, but at least your ENT acknowledged that it is a reaction from the vaccine. So many doctors aren't doing that.
So here is my update. Today should be my last day on Prednisone but I had 1 day of heart racing and ended up not tapering that day. So tomorrow is my last day. My dose was as follows 60mg for 3 days 40mg for 3 days 20mg for 3 days and 10mg for 4 days. I also ended up having to take antibiotics for 5 days. On top of those 2 things, I was and am doing whole30 for anti-inflammatory foods and I drink an adrenal cocktail every morning. (1 lemon, 1/4tsp pink Himalayan salt, and 1/4tsp cream of tartar in 16oz water) Being on Prednisone is rough and it sucked (A LOT of headaches) but I think that's what my body needed. It did calm me down all over. My ear doesn't ache in pain anymore. My dizziness is only there if I spin around too many times like putting dishes away in the kitchen, otherwise it's gone. My eyes are still blurry but I've accepted that I may have vision loss from the vaccine. My tachycardia/panic attacks stopped except for 1 bad day. I think that was most important for me was to get the heart under control. Funny enough Prednisone actually causes anxiety so the fact that it calmed mine down makes me believe that my body was so messed up. I feel my worst in the mornings and then get better throughout the day. I wake up with these internal vibrations that no one can see but I can feel. I'm told its due to Adrenal fatigue. I also still have muscle twitches/spasms and my jaw-cheek-temple pain flares every few days. I'm not 100 but maybe I'm close to 90% better. i don't think I would be here if it wasn't for the steroid. I was going backwards there at week 5 and I was mad about it. So now starting week 7 I'm in a much better place with huge improvement and almost normal days. I pray for all of you here that you can figure out what will work to bring you to your pre-vaccine selves. My journey is not over, I'm sure I still have another good month before I'm completely myself again. Also Prednisone has side effects 2-8 weeks after you are off of it so I am not out of the woods yet. I'll continue to post progress as things change. Thanks to everyone who have come back and given words of encouragement and updates.
My husband started feeling dizziness and Vertigo-like symptoms a few days after our second Moderna vaccine. I thought possibly he was having some inflammation, so I had him take some motrin in the mornings, but he did still have some issues.  But after hearing a little bit about antihistamines helping with Vertigo, he tried taking Xyzal before bed.  He has not had an issue with the dizziness since.  He will continue taking it for a week or so.  My husband also has some issues with bee stings, so possibly he had elevated swelling/allergic reaction to the vaccine.  Thought we'd share in case it can help others 🙂Â
I'll start like so many others - I stumbled across this forum while Googling "Covid vaccine dizziness." And also like many others - my symptoms were 5 days delayed. First Pfizer vaccine April 13th, soreness at injection site, no other reaction. Second Pfizer vaccine May 4th, reaction same as the first - soreness at injection site, nothing else...I thought I'd gotten away clean! Then 5 days after vaccine, very mild dizziness on Saturday - didn't even think about the onset until it got worse yesterday (Day 6). Moderate/uncomfortably dizzy/woozy yesterday evening. Heavy-headed, then headache. I had vertigo once awhile back so I knew about the Epley maneuver and did that last night, went to bed. Still a bit woozy in the morning, did the procedure again. Mild symptoms today.
49 YO female, excellent health, no underlying conditions to speak of but I do have seasonal allergies which I use OTC nasal steroids to manage. I've had mild ear congestion as long as I can remember, ever present - pop/clear my ears all the time.Â
Mainly wanted to just log my response as one of many many others that had a similar latent reaction, limited to vertigo-like symptoms. (So far, anyway!)
@arthur My vertigo is better now (two days later) but I have a headache and exhaustion still and feel 'off'. It also seems to have amplified my seasonal allergies in addition to everything else. I just wish I had some energy. I am being so careful not to do anything that may start the vertigo back up, but the problem is, I have no idea why it started in the first place other than having had the vaccine.Â
@isismadec The physician in the ER when I went in on Sat with a full blown severe attack of vertigo said the vaccine had no bearing on it. I find it very suspicious that it happened 3 1/2 days afterwards and I have never had this issue before. I think because it is a relatively rare, they are missing it as an actual side effect. Just because it is rare does not mean it is not connected.
@bcasey How did the intratympanic steroid injection go? Do you feel any improvement?
Thanks for the great overview about the check processes. It seems you are quite in these topics now.Â
Give us info how your checks gone, and if they find anything that is objectively can be measured.
Yeah great to know other country policies and the behavior of authorities. In our case the vaccinated people get an ID card which will be connect to a database. There is a QR code on it and they track there the vaccination time and let's say the privileges... 😃
We can go inside restaurants if we got this cards. And we can book for hotels. And some countries will accept this card if we travelling abroad.

Hello...that is very similar to what happened to me after my first Pfizer vaccine. I am a 57 year old health female. After the vaccine I got dizzy and this triggered anxiety. I have Xanax to take for GAD as needed, but rarely take it. But when I was caught in the dizziness/anxiety loop it was the only thing that would help. I had to start taking Lexapro to get handle on the anxiety. Mu dizziness lasted for 7 weeks.
I never took the 2nd shot. I wanted to but when my appt came up, I was still dizzy...
I also find a new symptom. But I feel that my vision is not so clear as before. And sometimes I see small flashes or I don't know. As I know it right, it could be caused by migraines...
And my head OMG it is like a bomb. Sometimes I have really strong pressure then it goes away.Â
I have talked with a friend doctor. She said that it could be an autoimmune reaction to the vaccine like many of here have mentioned. She also recommend steroids and a big dose of B vitamins.
What do you think without steroids will it gone or should we get one boost to speed up our recovery?

The dizziness triggered a lot of anxiety, and Xanax helped. It helped the dizziness too. Lots of ginger ale and crackers...lol
