Hello all any help would be much appreciated. I had my 2nd dose just 11 hours ago! Head is spinning, and breathing is shallow with a slight headache. If its normal! Just let me know so I can sleep it off.Β
@anonym2 Hi, I bought a neck pillow, it wraps around my neck, similar to what you use on flights, it's soft and feels like a bean bag. It gives me great support in bed and helps me sleep. I also have a wheat bag that I microwave, this gives me some relief in the day. 😊
@anonym2 Hi, the severity of my symptoms were beginning to ease after around 10 weeks, I took my second shot and was symptom free for three days, they then came back and felt the same as they were after my first shot. I'm almost three weeks into my second shot, I too get reasonably good days which are followed by horrible days. Very peculiar.Β
Just checking in with an update. I got my vaccine over five months ago and am dealing with lingering symptoms still, however the worst is long gone. I haven't had dizziness for two whole months and am hopeful it's gone for good. I am taking beta blockers for that but with anything, it's hard to know whether I would have dizziness without them or not. Doubt it. I do still get new and odd pains around my body - toe, knee, thigh, arm, neck, head. Almost everywhere. Is anyone else experiencing strange sensations/pains around their body? None of these are debilitating, just hard to understand. Other than those, I am hopeful I'm getting over these side effects!Β

And for those asking - I would never consider getting the second dose. The last five months have been tough enough as is. I'm young and healthy (prior to vaccine) and therefore am willing to take the risk with covid. However, I'm also being very careful and hoping the first shot has offered me some protection. Good luck to those who are getting the second dose, may your symptoms be minor.Β
@nodiagnosis I had second pfizer shot 6th May 2021 and am feeling so unwell right now. I have dizziness, nausea, vomting, headache, head and ear pressure, sinus pressure, chest pain that goes around my ribs and upper back, numbness and pins and needles in my feet, arms and hands. Also having terrible nightmares and cannot lie in bed to sleep as makes the pain in my head worse. Today I seem to have some blood coming from my left ear. Seen numerous Dr's and paramedics who all say it's anxiety. Feeling desperate now as I only felt this way since 2nd vaccine.
im so glad to hear you are feeling better! Β Are you taking the liquid Trifortify glutathione or the capsules. From what iβve learned recently is liquid is about 70-80% bioavailable and the capsules are 50% bioavailable. So if youre taking capsules I suppose it could take longer to work as youre getting less than liquid. Β
i spoke with another guy taking capsules and he said heβs doing much better but it also took him a few more days than it took me.
Also I thought I was taking a lot. It seemed like a lot for me and after I felt better in 2 days i dropped it back to just 2 or 3 tsp a day because it was slightly bothering my mild acid reflux that began from pregnancy.Β
For everyone elses benefit reading here, I just learned this brand Trifortify glutathione is soy based. So if youre allergic to soy ask a pharmacist.Β
Please post what your research on monocytes. I also found a lot about vaccines in general.Β
I was very weary of posting what helped me just because itβs the internet and people can misinterpret etc. but my husband kept saying - so many ppl are suffering. At least give them the info to look into fir themselves. You dont know my husband - but heβs western medicine all the way - thinks supplements are hooey and in this case heβs actually giving credit to the supplements fir my recovery. Plus he couldnt stand me incapacitated on the couch for 5 weeks bc we have a child and a dog and work etc.Β
My point is, i agree what you said that one piece of info can change someoneβs life, so I shared my luck in finding help. So glad ppl are feeling better.Β
@rachie Iβve had all those EXACT same symptoms since April after getting my 2nd shot as well. Wow. I am so sorry this is happening, and believe me Iβm going through the exact same thing. Does your nausea and dizziness get worse with movement? Up until a week ago I would try to go for walks to relax, now Iβm bedridden.
@korki777 yes it gets worse when getting up, my boyfriend has to help me to the bathroom or anywhere else I need to go as so dizzy. Have started the glutathione, quertcin and zinc regime recommended on here and praying it helps, it is worth a try for sure as Dr's not helping me at all. Am also drinking vitamin c and having fruit and vegetable smoothies when able to not vomit.Β Hope you and I feel better soon, it would be great to come back here and say we are better so can give hope to others.Β
@korki777also seems to get worse as day goes on. All very strange and upsetting. I had covid in Dec 2020 so I feel I may have been over vaccinated and my body in fight mode as has too many antigens causing huge inflammation - well that's my theory as my body feels like it's inflamed and my nerves raw. Like a toothache over my whole body is best I can describe it!Β
@rachie Yes!! I hope we can too. Today for the first time I feel extremely dizzy even when Iβm just lying in bed not doing anything. Canβt walk anymore. Iβm so scared and donβt know whatβs going to happen. I started feeling a bit better a few weeks after this started, but now Iβm worse than ever. I was completely healthy before this and now my life is completely ruined. Canβt move my head without feeling dizzy and nauseas. Iβm at a loss.
@korki777 I guess we will have to fight through this and support each other, this forum is very supportive and informative. Keep fighting x
I have had the symptoms about 8 weeks now and am starting to notice some improvement.Β Finally.Β I still feel dizzy at night and early morning but have the ability to do more during the day now.Β I can read or watch tv for a few minutes, where I couldn't do that a few weeks ago.Β I was using Lorazepam at night to help calm the spins and that would take the edge off and allow me to sleep.Β Last night was the first time I was able to sleep without it.Β Still have ups and downs but have found vestibular therapy helpful.Β I do use the D-Hist supplement (Vit C, quercetin, NAC, stinging nettle) as an antihistamine/anti inflammatory.Β I think that is helpful.Β I haven't tried the glutathione but might consider that.Β
I just want to offer some encouragement to others who are in the thick of this.Β Hang in there!
