Hi everyone I have been having neurological issues for awhile now. I got my second moderna vaccine on February 28th, and for about 3 weeks after I had massive tension headaches every day until it subsided. Then at the beginning of May some floaters came into my vision, followed by the whole array of visual snow syndrome symptoms over the next month. (Floaters, light sensitivity, tinnitus, static in vision, after image effect). Is anyone going through the same thing? All of these came on about two months after the vaccine and a month and a half after the head aches stopped. Iβve been dealing with this for 3 months now and hope thereβs an end in sight.
@aecamp97 hi one Moderna shot going exactly is the same thing very hard shouting headhave blurred vision tons of eye floaters 😩😩 light sensitivity there months now 😩 my eyes are the biggest problemΒ
Yes. I also developed floaters...first in my left eye shortly after my first Pfizer vaccination. Then my right eye a few weeks later. Since my second vaccination my eyesight has worsened. My doctor says no such side effect has been recorded for the vaccine, but obviously others are also experiencing this problem. I have been told it has something to do with fluid around the retina. Does anyone know if there is someone to report these side effect to?Β
@madeline VAERS for sure and your eye doctor. I have seen several people report on this forum and elsewhere. Floaters are also reported by covid long haulers. My eye doctor had not heard of it from vax and just dismissed it too.Β
@bella - Sorry for the delay. I was unwell for the past few weeks. My floaters have reduced to 50% (i would day). I sometimes notice them in the sunlight or bright light. I started noticing floaters two weeks after the first shot. But, my biggest problem is tinnitus and head pressure now. I also had other visual symptoms (blurred vision, change in focus, reading difficulties, photosensitivity) and they have subsided significantly.
@lili23 No way.... I am staying away from this vaccine as I cant deal with the symptoms. I have gone through a lot (like all of us) and have not recovered fully yet.
@aecamp97 yes, I have gone through all what you have mentioned. Some symptoms have gotten better with time and for some there is no improvement at all. Like others have suggested I am relying on vitamins and time. Stay positive.
same. Exact same thing. I am Depressed. Headaches were better, then came eye issues. I feel the inflammation through my eyes. Sensitivity to heat and light. It has affected my vision.Β
@bb1973 - Nothing has helped me control my visual symptoms so far. I am just waiting and hope it goes away with time. I am meeting a neuro-ophthalmologist this month and will update you all if I find anything useful. I am also going for acupuncture this week but I think I might have to go through 3-4 sessions to conclude anything.
