At Balance Rehabilitation, we perform a comprehensive evaluation to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for our patients, using both clinical expertise and specialized equipment all at our clinic. Treatment plans are always developed around our patient’s personal and functional goals to help them return to their regular life and recreational activities. We work on developing a network with other specialists in the area as well, establishing a team approach for those requiring greater care with complex vestibular and neurological issues. This includes vestibular-specialized ENTs, neurologists, neuro-ophthalmologists, neuro optometrists, and psychological and emotional health professionals. Also having an orthopedic background, our physical therapy doctors treat all orthopedic issues as well with strong manual therapy skills and exercise prescription. This enables our physical therapists to assist patients to a level beyond typical vestibular rehabilitation therapy in providing highly skilled manual therapy to the upper and lower cervical spine, TMJ, areas of the cranium, thoracic spine, and elsewhere through the musculoskeletal system as it relates to the individual's symptoms and presentation.
Conditions treated: BPPV, vestibular hypofunction and vestibular loss (neuritis, labyrinthitis), vestibular migraine, concussion, PPPD and anxiety-related dizziness, motion sensitivity, cervicogenic dizziness (neck, TMJ, craniosacral, etc.), impairments associated with Ménière’s disease, imbalance/fall risk prevention.
