APTA Accepting Comments on Clinical Practice Guidelines

The Neurology Section of the American Physical Therapy Association is accepting comments on new clinic practice guidelines for treatment of vestibular hypofunction.

VeDA supports the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines (CPG) to assist physical therapists with the treatment of persons with peripheral vestibular hypofunction in order to optimize rehabilitation outcomes. The purpose of this CPG for peripheral vestibular hypofunction is to describe the evidence supporting vestibular physical therapy including interventions and discharge planning supported by current best evidence.

The APTA is making a draft of the Vestibular Physical Therapy CPG available for public comment through May 20, 2015.  We invite you to critically read the draft and provide input and comments.  Please note the manuscript is not to be cited or published anywhere at this time.

Provide feedback on the CPG.
