360 Neuro Health Vestibular Rehab Certificate program Level 4: Visual-Vestibular Functional Integration Therapy + Cervical-Thoracic Management & Navigating Complex Patient Conversations

Training

The V2FIT+ Summit is a live, in-person advanced event that explores the intricate neural pathways connecting the visual and vestibular systems, the cervical-thoracic spine, and the psychology of eye movements in calming our nervous system.

Participants will apply clinical reasoning skills, not just through study and hands-on labs, but by engaging directly with both faculty and peers over real-world complex cases.

The V2FIT+ Summit will be held following the CCVR 2.0 Course Clinical Skills Live Lab on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, 2024 in Austin, Texas at Ascension Seton.

Day 1 is a half-day interactive workshop that focuses on laying a solid groundwork for assessing and treating cervical-thoracic and rib dysfunction as it relates to dizziness, balance, posture, headaches, and eye alignment.

Day 2 continues with an expert-led exploration of current trends and research for visual-vestibular disorders, including updates on BPPV, 3PD, MdDS, concussion, functional movement disorders, dizziness in the acute care setting, and more!

This group discussion is followed by a hands-on lab for differentiating oculomotor cranial nerve involvement versus skew deviation versus pathological ocular tilt reaction along with other valuable clinical tips and tricks to add to your toolbox.

Next, participants will explore the role of eye movements in patients facing dysfunctions – be it physical or emotional distress with a licensed professional counselor and previous neuro-optometrist. The course ends by navigating complex cases through collaborative think tanks with participants and course faculty.

And, as a bonus, we celebrate by creating the opportunity to wind down and mingle as colleagues and with our industry partners who helped make this course possible.

As you can see, this event goes beyond the basics — by addressing the sequela of multi-system involvement in those patients with persisting dizziness, visual symptoms, and a psychological component. This includes enhancing your manual therapy skills, a deeper dive into visual-vestibular differentials, and strategies to better understand and address rumination, perseveration, and catastrophization.
