Maria da Conceição Graça holds a PhD in Physiotherapy from the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto- PORTUGAL, a Master’s Degree in Geriatrics and Gerontology from the University of Aveiro, and a degree in Physiotherapy from the Higher School of Health Technology of Coimbra, having worked as a hospital physiotherapist in the area of neurological rehabilitation throughout the life cycle for 36 years. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Escola Superior de Saúde Norte da CVP de Oliveira de Azeméis, coordinator of the Degree Course in Physiotherapy, having supervised several degree projects and master’s dissertations, as well as master’s argument. She has scientific publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and her research interests focus on aquatic physiotherapy in the elderly population. She has clinical practice in geriatric rehabilitation in aquatic, hospital and home environments, promoting physical and mental health and preventing the risk of falls using biofeedback.
