Life on the Level Support Group

Details

This support group provides a unique and critical service:

Most meetings are structured around a guest speaker from the world of vestibular medicine, treatment, and related subjects. Allowing members to hear directly of developments and best practice for many of the common balance disorders. With Q&A sessions allowing direct access to some of the UK's leading experts.

The support group physically meets in the midlands UK, but membership is not restricted to any country or territories, with members based in Australia, USA, and Europe.

Acceptance. This forum allows individuals to ask questions and learn in a non-judgmental and safe environment. Participants know that everyone attending the meeting understands and has compassion for the functional difficulties of getting through each day. As a result, less frustration and energy are spent on proving or defining limitations. More energy is available for appreciating the character and companionship offered by others, and recognizing personal self-worth.

Members can also opt in for member-to-member direct contact, and report great comfort and benefit is found with new friendships and the exchange of information.

Meetings are approximately every 8 weeks with no regular schedule. Please contact the support group leader for details. Meetings can be viewed on Facebook Live where you can see the presentation even if you cannot attend in person. You can also visit Life on the Level's website www.lifeonthelevel.org for details on their work and joining the group which is free and available to all.
