there is nothing we can do about this I guess! I am so furious and nothing we can do... they should be aware of how many people feeling ill from these horrible shots!

Hi Carol, I was asked by my doctor if I'm depressed. I said no, but I am angry. She gave me a long look. For me, there is a difference. I don't deny my feelings, but I don't want to be further damaged by them. I've already had one reaction and don't need to have a depressed reaction to that! It seems that the important thing for me is to refocus on getting better as much as possible.

And I do think that evidence is mounting that some have ended up with Covid vaccine injuries and I hope that eventually that will become impossible to be denied. Already I've seen medical journal articles detailing some of them, informing other medical professionals this way. And I'm convinced that medical communities are privately abuzz with this also.

i have Meneres since 24 now 72. Went through all those exercises all my life. I will not put myself there again! Never helped and made me more dizzy. So I ended up with nerve section and still get dizzy! But managed. Now since these rotten shots all over again!!!! Just pray it is no permanent.

That is a very long time! I've been seeing that what helps some of us doesn't necessarily prove to be helpful for all of us. I'm sorry you invested in doing exercises and surgery and still have issues! And I'm sure you've gotten a lot of experience for what had helped you manage. And then to have the shots cause a flare that none of that works for must be extremely frustrating! I am praying and live in hope for all of us to recover 🥴🙏

@thenystagmus Thank you so much for your words! I do need to learn to be kinder to myself. My body needs to heal. I have some "good" days but not enough to counter the bad ones. I have faith that we will all recover.

Hi Veronica, I have to remind myself to be kind to me, too! If I was someone else, I'd probably treat them with more patience than I do myself! I'm pressing into all good days and hoping we all get them! 👍🙏

I think someone on the forum mentioned being prescribed this and he said it worked great for him.

@thenystagmus Who is at risk for developing that side effect? I hear all group ages speaking up about persistent side effects after the vaccine. The super vaccine that everyone is encouraging us to take???

Hi Sarah- I'm not sure what side effect you're referring to. I do know that there are others beyond our group here that are also of many different ages that are also experiencing a wide range of adverse reactions, sadly even children now. Given this, I wonder if there may eventually be guidelines developed for caution for some with certain preexisting conditions and for those of us experiencing lasting reactions. Already some here have shared that their doctor has advised them to not get additional Covid vaccine.

@thenystagmus why isn't this something being announced in the news?!? This is a serious side effects that the public should be aware of. People get sick for weeks! Still don't know if they will recover from?! Nobody is taking any responsibility.

I understand and share in your thoughts and feelings!

As I'm sure you probably already know, there is a metaphor that existed before the Covid pandemic - that of herd immunity. It rankles with me to be referred to like that, nonetheless the concept is that the spread of a disease will come under control when enough of the population has become immune to it, either by becoming infected with it or by becoming vaccinated against it. Again, I'm sure you probably know and know and know all this. That part has been in the news unceasingly! Along with the relentless pressure for everyone to become vaccinated to try to get the incidence of this Covid infection under control.

Like you, I look for the days when the potential for adverse reactions to these Covid vaccines is freely publicized, along with the expected rates of occurrences, so people and their doctors can make informed decisions about their potential benefit vs potential risks ...I hope that will happen someday... 🙏

Hello,

A short update from me:

I have an inner eye check, it showed nothing. I also got an EEG test, which results I have got today. My neurologist said that a small disfunction can be seen in my brain, which can result my symptoms as well. He said to I should wait. I am feeling some really slow recovery but he said if my recovery stops he will give me meds, but hopefully my body will recover itself without any med.

I recognized when I am not sleeping enough, or I am angry then my symptoms get worse. My symptoms changing day to day, sometimes better, then worse again.

I am waiting a half or a full month, hopefully this time will enough to recover. If not I will go back to my doctor.

These news made me really sad that maybe I have to live like that for months.

@thenystagmus thank you for responding. Children suffering the side effects??? The vaccine was approved for ages 12 and up so far. I am referring to dizziness, vertigo, nausea, ear ringing and fatigue. Multiple people stated that they didn't have any preexisting conditions before taking the vaccine. Some of us can't afford going to multiple specialists and running multiple tests on top of having work and family to take care of. Once again why isn't this something that the public is not getting informed about already????

@thenystagmus this is something that should be happening already instead of encouraging people to take the vaccine. We have the right to have all the information presented to us beforehand, so we can make the right decision. Once again not all of us can entertain the idea of talking to their doctor before going to take the vaccine. I know people that didn't have the need to do so because they were young and healthy individuals. Now they are stuck with a bunch of symptoms that they don't know how to manage, many compare it to Covid long haulers symptoms. Isn't the idea to prevent it in the first place?!

Thank you, Sarah.   Had it not been for this site and info. from everyone, a family member who has had a pre-existing vestibular condition for many years (and continues to function-some days better than others)  would have received his vaccine this weekend.  Years ago, he experienced  all of the symptoms and tests everyone is describing due to a virus which inflamed the vestibular nerve.  I so hope that the public is informed of these side effects, and then can make their own decisions.   I wish everyone well, and please try to stay strong.

Has anyone that has received any of the new Covid Vaccines, did you experience any increased dizziness or other symptoms?

I received my 2nd Moderna shot on March 28th and on April 20th I had my first bout of vertigo ever and I am 47 years old.  I was unable to get out of bed on my own.  I spent two days with extreme vertigo and then over the next few days it improved.  I still have days where I feel a bit off but today I woke up and was off balance, felt like I was leaning to my left side.  I laid back down thinking I was just still groggy but after about an hour of laying down I tried to get up and have full blown vertigo again.  I am terrified that I will be plagued with this the rest of my life.  I feel 100% confident that this is a side effect of the covid vaccine.  I am feeling hopeless and just hope that someone has some good news for me.

I wish I had an answer to that.  Everyone is asking the same thing. My thought is that it is not being publicized because doing so would discourage people from taking the vaccine.  I have to wonder what other terrible side effects aren't being publicized for the  same reason.  People have a right to know what they right be getting into so they can make an informed choice, and that hasn't been done.

Have you had the vaccine and are now dealing with terrible side effects?  Or are you trying to find information so you can make an informed choice?  Tell us a little more about your situation and we might be able to offer you some input.

@isismadec I had an appointment 2 days ago and cancelled. It is not okay to hide that information from us just so we get a vaccine. My partner already taken 2 doses of his and at this point the decision to take it or not is very difficult. I am an athletic 32 year old female with no underlying health conditions that I know of. My friends were my age and also healthy but still suffering from side effects. I am fine with 2-3 days of feeling fatigue and feverish. I am not okay with long term side effects that prevent me from functioning daily and feeling like I might die.

Quick update: Went to ENT and it seems I have some hearing damage. However, it is symmetrical which doesn't point to an infection. I asked about vestibular neuritis and labyrinthitis and she said it's possible I did have something like that and it has cleared up.

The thing is most of my symptoms have passed so I knew it would be hard for her to tell me exactly what the issue is. I would say 98% of my symptoms disappeared after two weeks, leaving only tinnitis and hearing issues. Apparently these can clear up over time but she told me one of her patients had significant permanent hearing loss a couple days after vaccine. Could have been coincidence. Without reports and data we may never know.

ENT sent me to do some balance testing and I may go see a neurologist. At this point if the symptoms don't return I'll assume I'm clear and I probably had some inflammation of the vestibular nerve or something.
