Hi! Like many of you, I found this topic when I searched dizziness side effect of covid vaccine (Pfizer in my case). It started yesterday, week after I took first dose of vacinne and it's pretty bad but I can manage it. What worries me more though is that I have really strange leg pain/discomfort, some kind of muscle tension that simply can't go away. Anyone had that?

Not to mention headache, flatulence (to the point I felt pulse beat in my stomatch) and general tiredness. I'm scared ;/

@thenystagmus

Are you still having ongoing Paresthesias?  I just developed this symptoms of numbness pin and needles and feeling weak of my left leg in the last 7 days and it doesn't seem to go away.  I hope you're feeling much better by now.  This will also gives me hope that I will feel normal again.  Thanks.

I need to apologize for unloading on you. You were reaching out for hope and I wasn't helpful to you. I'm sorry. I didn't realize how my concern about my facial paresthesia had started worrying me. While replying to you I got surprised by that.

I'd like to start over and say that I remember others here mentioning issues with unpleasant sensations with their legs or arms going on. I'm not sure where things went for them from there, but I truly hope all this stuff we're going through will prove to be temporary, and I do have hope it won't take a year for us to improve.

I don't see that you've mentioned how long you've been dealing with your symptoms. I wouldn't be surprised if you're dealing with dizziness also, since that's the thing most of us have in common.

And I should add that I've gone from strong vertigo with nystagmus and vomiting - and have improved to some remaining dizziness and nausea now. That does give me hope that all this stuff that remains will pass also.

So, sorry again for my negativity, and welcome! And I hope you improve, also!

Hi there

Thanks for replying my message. No worry about your comments.  We are all frustrated here with the side effects.

I got Pfizer on May 21 and the symptom of numbness started on May 27. It started on the left side (leg and arm and lip).  I felt better the next day.  Certain days I have certain symptoms but they are all some numbness and pin and needles (just in various places).  It's here and there and it's like it moving around, pin and needle for short time at certain area.  Couple times that I felt dizziness (or more like sleepiness) but it resolved quite quickly.  Yesterday my left leg felt so tired (right leg was okay).  Today both legs are okay.  I talked to my cousin who is a doctor and he thinks I'm having Immunization stress-related response which the symptoms are real but no specific causes.  He said it's less likely to be a true neurologic condition because my symptoms are not persistent (even though I thought it's persistent just not always the same places).  I'll talk to my doctor today over the phone and see what he says.

Hope you're feeling better each day.

Here is an article about this that I found interesting. It explains how Mrna targets monocytes. Also talks about liposome.

Seems like it’s not farfetched that the Mrna may throw off some people’s systems

The lyposomal glutothione seems to clear this up and reduce inflammation (as well as querecitin). The zinc i think is possibly given because I read that glutathione can reduce zinc.. so supplemented to not make it low. Im just guessing based on the little bit of info I was given.

Has anyone on here with Tinnitus used a Sound Pillow before ?

Its a normal pillow but with a speaker built into it and the way its designed is supposed to turn the pillow into a sort of speaker, hoping it will help mask the Tinnitus at night time.

Ive just brought one from Amazon, like the idea of being able to lay on my effected ear/side and have a comfy cushion essentially acting like a speaker.

Once I get it next week ill update on here as to wether or not it helps me. Id say I have moderate Tinnitus ?? When im outside or watching TV or netflix I barely notice its there, but once Im in a quiet room it is almost impossible to ignore...not sure how that compares to others experience of it.

Hope everyone is managing to get some pleasant moments this weekend x

I'm staying away from headphones and pillows with speakers.  Much hearing loss is noise induced.  On another forum I belong to many of the members acquired noise induced hearing loss/tinnitus through headphone use.  My thought is if other people acquired tinnitus through any kind of speaker close to the ear, then I am going to avoid it.  I do use my phone on my nightstand with gentle water streaming sounds.

Got my pillow and the speaker is very small and its well positioned in the pillow and its pretty quiet. No way it would get anywhere near loud enough to cause damage. It sits inside the pillow so it is not directly against the ear.

Its been designed to help with Tinnitus so i dont think theres cause for worry...will let you know how I get on with it.

Has anyone noticed if their vaccine side/adverse effects have affected their weakest spots? My weak spots are my migraines, neck aches, back ache and knee aches. Since having the vaccines these problem areas of mine have been targeted and my aches and pains have intensified in these areas.

Ive heard a few people saying this and saying the vaccine has activated underlying issues.

@spinningandmiserable

i didnt have ear pressure. I dont think I had normal vertigo either. Once when I had vertigo, the room was spinning. This was not quite like that. This was a whirring, buzzing, rocking on a boat, ungrounded feeling (which as your username describes) was absolutely miserable and debilitating.

Hello everyone!

I am 12 days post Pfizer vac 2. I have been experiencing lightheadedness basically while and moving around. It still exists when laying down or sitting but not nearly as bad. I’ve been to the doctor twice as well as two Teladoc calls and they all believe it is a Vaccine side effect that possibly triggered something. They will be referring me to a neurologist this upcoming week but everything appears to be fine. Blood work was normal as was a small nervous system test (walking across the room, squeezing fingers, following the finger with eyes only etc..)

I do not have any other symptoms. No nausea, vomiting, headaches, no pain anywhere, no loss of eyesight, smell, no sensitivity to everything and I actually feel better when I’m driving. However I just feel like a bucket of water where the bucket isn’t moving but the water is splashing around inside. It’s very frustrating and kind of depressing. I also have never had any depression on anxiety diagnosis. I’m wondering if anyone else has been feeling this and if there’s any consensus on the best remedy? Essentially feel normal all around but the lightheadedness is crazy and has been persistent for about a week. Thanks!

Hi Nick.

Your symptoms sound intenticle to what I was experiencing for the first 2.5 weeks, but i also developed Tinnitus too.

Today I am 4 weeks since vaccine and glad to say that pretty much all my symptoms have gone, but I am left with this awful Tinnitus and I seem to have underlying tiredness, and the fullness of the ear although the tiredness seems to be getting less intense.

I think majority of people are finding that the light headedness, pressure on head, vertigo type symptoms fade after about 4 weeks.

The Tinnitus for me is the really hard one, because once you get Tinnitus...it generally stays for life and dealing with that is very difficult.

Hi All.  I am a 50 year old woman who has been struggling with dizziness, brain fog and mild nausea since about 1 week after my second Pfizer dose.  In the 5.5 weeks since symptoms started I had about one week of feeling slightly better - and the rest of the time symptoms have been pretty constant.  Some days are much worse than others like today where I am pretty incapable of doing anything.  The nausea subsided after the 2nd week but dizziness and brain fog persist - general sense of disorientation at times.  I often find myself standing up looking into the fridge or closet feeling a sense of "where am I and what am I doing?"  Haha!  Trying to find the humor in it sometimes!  But it's a sensation that is hard to describe as it's just beneath the surface.  I am grateful that I am vaccinated against COVID and am trying to stay positive that these symptoms will subside.  I am still unsure if they are connected to the vaccine or if I am just experiencing weird peri-menopause symptoms but reading this forum seems to confirm some definite patterns post vaccination.  My GP has been somewhat understanding and has shared with me that she has another patient with similar symptoms.  She sent me to a neurologist who was pretty dismissive (although he said symptoms "could" have been caused by the vaccine).  He also advised me to come back in a month if things haven't changed.  My GP has also ordered an MRI which I will get next week.  I understand the complexities involved with this type of sweeping roll-out of a vaccine so have faith that researchers are working hard to understand the nuances of different people's reactions.  This is a new technology just like the novel virus it is meant to combat and I remain hopeful that if these patterns are real doctors will find solutions. In the meantime I'm looking for ways to feel better.  Am I understanding that some people are finding relief with B1 supplements and zinc?

@lilu906 no this was something I tried after someone on this forum posted how well they did once they started the supplements. I’m taking 1500mg glutathione, 600mg quercetin and 25mg zinc.
