dizziness also, brain fog ,light sensative, little balance issues, only after 1 shot, feeling better 3 weeks later, but still not a hundred
@djmatera Yes, you've described it to the letter. I will be entering week 5 of sick leave quite soon. Mornings are debilitating; for me, right after I eat something. Then it gradually goes away, but still takes hours.
Yes. I am shaky and have heart fluttering some days.
Same for me !! mornings and afternoons are hard! and then in the evening and night it calms down I even often become myself again. I dream to wake up and have a good day without these waves of brain fog
@mexvaxed you explained the progress very well.I didnt find any logic to go for second dose.yup it recover gradualy but super slow.
How long did it take mine has been going on for 5 days
After 1st shot mine (heavy brain fog/not able to function) lasted about 5-6 weeks then it eased out a lot to a 90% normality
After 2nd shot (7 weeks after 1st) I developed brain fog again but way milder, so far I'm about 10 days and it seems to be stopping.
Tinnitus never went away, but it was never too annoying. Hopefully it'll ease out too.
@hidden1959 I’m starting to think that what I was feeling this morning was acid reflux. I haven’t been diagnosed with it, but I plan on telling my doctor about it. I was able to sleep for bit and I was able to have a meal.
I’m about to take my magnesium and hope the rest of the day is better.
Yes I have acid reflux too I don't have it normally
I received my Moderna Covid-19 Shot on the 24th of July 2021. On the 30th of July, I sought emergency room care for acute dizziness that was diagnosed as BPPV. During my initial exam, none of the attending doctors asked me about my vaccine. Now, on the 4th of August, I continue to have a disability of dizziness even after receiving my first treatment by my doctor for BPPV. Occam's Razor; the simplest answer is most likely the answer.
This is really close to my experience. I had moderna on July 22nd, and had the usual side effects of sore arm, headache, etc, for 3-4 days. When my arm got back to normal I figured I was totally fine. Then on July 29th, one week after the vaccine, I was at my mom's house helping her do a few things in the kitchen. She handed me a knife and I felt really confused and lightheaded. I started having tunnel vision like I was fainting, and quickly grabbed a chair to keep me from hitting the ground. I ended up lying down for a few hours until I felt like I could get up again.
It was 37C that day, so I thought at the time maybe I just overheated. But a few days later I was at my sisters, sitting in a chair drinking coffee in the morning, when I basically felt like I was fainting again. It's scary when you are completely at rest and feel like you are going to pass out. Since heart problems run in my family, I checked myself into the emergency department and they ran various heart tests and blood work. They said all of that looked fine.
Since then I haven't fainted or felt like I was going to pass out, but I feel like I'm moving slower than normal and am a bit wobbly walking around. A few times I've felt like I need to put my hand on the wall to steady myself, and walking around outside I have that feeling like I'm wearing new prescription glasses and don't quite have my coordination right yet.
The only thing I can attribute all of this too is the vaccine so far. I'm hopeful in a few weeks it resolves, as I feel like I'm running at 70% right now, and am worried about doing too much in case that feeling comes back where I want to pass out.
