Did they tell you if it was safe to get the second dose?

@pfizervictim It was actually the zinc that stared helping the most.  From what I have read is that the quercetin will help you cells get the zinc. If I'm not mistaken its a blood brain barrier thing.

I am still dizzy during the mornings. I am attributing it to a work place with led lighting and some computer work. From what I understand is our brains are looking for visual cues to help us stabilize. Im guessing im picking up the frequency that the leds are giving off.

I feel almost normal when I am outside in natural light.

I also am eating dairy which will affect inflammation but I have given up coffee and chocolate/sugar.

I have ordered the 5-htp and will be trying that next.

I've had slight dizziness from my neck issues over last 4 years. Only lasted for seconds or until I'd readjust my position. This is completely different & new. 1st Maderna Vax 8/13. Today is 8/19 & I woke @ 12:30a.m. with a start, grabbing onto covers as I felt like I was spinning wildly. Woke again @ 5a.m. & when I opened my eyes the room was spinning. Took me several attempts before I could trust myself to sit up & eventually stand. @ 6:45a.m. I was getting my Grands ready for school but couldn't lower my head, stoop or bend to help them without getting dizzy! I feel it's from the vax. Hoping it will pass. My second dose is due 9/12 +/- & I don't think I will get it if this vertigo persists. My husband suffers with Menieres so I know how horrible this could get. Have any of you not gotten your 2nd dose & the vertigo disappear?

Thanks for any info, D.

Folks, please do everything you can to stay active, hydrated, well supplemented and keep pushing yourselves to reach your normalcy. Do not be the victim of your symptoms. I am determined today that I am not going to let my mind take control over my body. Our once too busy minds have encountered a bug and WILL debug themselves if we continue to believe that it will. Our minds are so powerful that it can mimic anything we think of as going wrong in our bodies. I came to know that there are a couple of things contributing to our symptoms: anxiety, prior vestibular issues and lack of nutrients in our bodies. Vitamin B complex helps, L-quercetin, zinc, glutathion IV, ozone IV, magnesium, folate(if your body cannot process folic acid). Stay active, please!!!!  Wishing everyone a speedy recovery. I truly believe these are long haul covid symptoms that the vaccine has given us.

@axteller I am so glad to have found your post. I got my first dose of Moderna 5/11/2021. On 5/13/2021 I had Covid symptoms and tested positive. My first week was the typical upper respiratory symptoms, but by day 3/4 I was dizzy on and off and having panic attacks (I have anxiety). By day 8 my symptoms switched to nausea, dizziness, loss of appetite and body tremors or feeling extremely cold. I noticed caffeine was a trigger. So I stopped drinking it cold turkey. I had these terrible symptoms for another week and a half (21 days of “coivd”).Flash forward to 3 months post covid positive test and I have the worst vertigo on and off. I’ve seen so many drs and only one has said it’s related to my vaccine. I haven’t gotten my second dose and I don’t think I will. My ENT diagnosed me with vestibular neuritis and I’ll start pt soon. I just ordered all of those supplements and I’m praying they work! I have since started drinking coffee again, just not as much because it dose trigger the vertigo. My ent wants a mri but I think it’s pointless since I know the culprit. People think I’m nuts when I say the vaccine caused all of this. Really wish my brother in law who is also a pharmacist was more like yours.

Here is a list of foods and drink I found to avoid. I realized I eat and drink most of these regularly! They major triggers for vestibular neuritis. Never would have known without digging around. Also, my dr performed this test on me and this is how I was diagnosed with the vestibular neuritis post covid/covid vaccine.

*Your doctor will also check your eyes, which may be flickering uncontrollably. When a patient with vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis is seen early these eye movement may be observed.*

@hnlinneman

I have Intercranial hypertension and have pressure issues that require lumbar punctures. So i have had vertigo before as my pressure was high in May 2021 , but after my lp I did have relief until

I had the Merderna 3 weeks ago.

I have had severe  vertigo every since.

I have worked maybe 4 days as. I lay in bed every day severly fatigued and the room just spins.

My 2nd shot is due this Saturday, but i cannot bring myself to go get it.

I already feel like my life has been over for the last 3 weeks as I can not get anything accomplished.

I am glad to have found this board because my Neurologist acts like i am crazy if I think thr vaccine caused my vertigo to be this bad, but i know it did.

Updating my side effects diary

FIRST SHOT (MAY 16)

May 16 - got vaccinated (Pfizer)

May 17 - sore arm

May 18 - May 21 - feeling great

May 21 - May 22 - headache

May 23 - chills, felt feverish with no temperature

May 24 - May 26 - brain fog and dizziness

May 27 - May 28 - brain fog and clogged ears

May 29 - May 30 - brain fog, headache

May 31 - severe brain fog, fatigue

June 1 - June 16 - brain fog, head and ears feel weird

June 16 - July 2 - only brain fog is left paired with very light dizziness, it comes and goes

SECOND SHOT (JULY 2)

July 2 - sleepiness

July 3 - sleepiness, very slight brain fog

July 4 - July 5 - headaches

July 6 - July 7 - feel great (90%)

July 8 - noticeable brain fog

July 9 - July 10 - feel great (90%)

July 11 - July 17 - noticeable brain fog

July 17 - August 12 - this is the period where I felt 99%

August 12 - I had 2 very busy days of work, stressful too, and I didn’t sleep, maybe 2 hours, and next morning I started feeling some brain fog again

August 13 - August 19 - I had a few stressful days and I feel like i relapsed again but I am not dizzy and no headaches just slight brain fog (occasionally it becomes very noticeable)

I wonder if stress triggered it?

I didn’t notice that any supplements really helped or made any difference (I tried all of them), including the ones dizzyfromvaccine recommended

I actually felt better on the days I took less of them

@daisy how are you feeling now? I have had similar after Pfizer. Tremors but mainly feel internal, numbness, tingling, brain fog, pins and needs. All started around two weeks after first vaccine I’m not 10 weeks in and no better. Blood tests haven’t shown anything Dr is referring me for scans. He says it can’t be the vaccine but so many people with similar symptoms. I’m going crazy with worry and Anxiety

@kdoyle84 Hi! I am also from Ontario....You can read my side effects diary above but I got my first shot middle of May and my second one beginning of July...I took a bunch of supplements, tried to stay healthy, I am a healthy young woman

My second shot was a bit better tolerated and currently I have long stretches of days when I feel almost 100%, I would say 99.99% but weather, stress and other factors definitely cause minor relapses which is very annoying

I still haven't been to the doctor, I hate my family doctor, she has always been very dismissive...I found this forum pretty quickly and knew what was happening to me but I am planning to go to the doctor late fall to discuss my future options if vaccination becomes mandatory.

I have been agonizing over getting the vaccine for months now. Things are going crazy in GA where I live so I'm feeling tremendous pressure to go ahead and do it. But I've had Meniere's Disease since 2004 and have a long history of reacting to things badly. The main things that cause vertigo attacks for me have been free glutamic acid and MSG, usually in some kind of processed food or things like soy sauce. Guaranteed vertigo attack. Though some attacks have also happened for no known reason. Also, I got Lyme disease in 2016 and it caused the worst ever vertigo with spinning so fast that everything was a blur around me. These attacks were so bad that I have PTSD from having suffered them. I still have lingering physical and mental symptoms from all the damage to my vestibular system, e.g. every night when I close my eyes it feels like I'm sleeping on a waterbed in a rowboat—the bed feels like it's rocking back and forth in random directions. It's very hard to get to sleep at night because of this. I also have generalized anxiety from 17 years of MD in general.

I'm terrified of anything that might cause a new cycle of vertigo. So, forcing myself to get a shot that many are saying aggravates their symptoms is like fighting a phobia.

Unfortunately, nothing here has really helped me decide. Without plowing through dozens of pages, it's very hard to distinguish those who have had side effects from the vaccine while also having MD (or another vestibular disorder) and those who suffer from side effects with no prior vestibular disorder. I wish there was an easy of way correlating all the data, but I suppose there isn't. Probably wouldn't help me anyway, because I would still need to fight the phobia on the way to the doctor's office. I also can't decide which vaccine would be best to take if I do get it. My parents both got Pfizer and had minimal side effects, just a bit of fatigue in the case of my mother. Since I share their DNA, I suspect I might do best with that vaccine.

Anyway, I know this probably doesn't add much to the overall discussion. It's just my story and where I am with all of this.

Wishing everyone the best.

—Michael
