Has anyone had similar issues after 1st dose of Pfizer and then had a 2nd dose? I’ve had chest pain and chest tightness, random pains particularly in left calf, pins and needles, numbness, warm sensation throughout parts of my body, dizziness and generally just feeling ‘off’ like something isn’t right. I was fit and healthy prior to the vaccine, active and exercising 6 days a week.
The chest pains and chest tightness started about 4 days after 1st dose.
GP first suspected pericarditis, but bloods, ecg and echocardiogram results were all fine. Have been advised by Cardiologist that it’s fine to get the 2nd dose in a couple of weeks, but based on what?? He said they have no idea why so many people are having chest pains! GP not interested and it seems that others have had the same experience. It seems the medical experts recommend 2nd dose regardless of adverse reactions, including chest pain. Also have vaccine mandate for work. Had 1st dose nearly 3 weeks ago. Chest pain isn’t as severe which is good, but I really don’t feel comfortable about getting another dose after feeling this way. Have also been told I could get the AstraZeneca instead, but who knows what could happen with that too. They are just guessing with no care for the risks or consequences.Don't go for AZ at all. I have taken it and have had chest pain. Though it did go in a few days but recently a Neurologist gave me a tablet for nerve pain/anti depressant which led to high palpitations which didn't let me sleep and I developed heart pain again. It's been 3 days I still feel uneasy and have some sort of pain there. I don't know what to do.
I took my second Az jab July 7th been through and still in shocking place . Buzzing nerves , twitching, head fog anxiety .
I believe its not the type of vaccine more that all the vaccines cause some kind of inflammatory response to the nerve system. The symptoms are near the same as ms .
My side effects have not stopped me doing anything but anxiety thru the roof . I am hoping a booster is not going to be enforced to the under 50s . I'm 47 .
I prey every day these effects wear off in time as someone said nerves can heal .
@sajlent My Meniers was worst when my diet was worst....after some iron supplementation, it seemed to go away altogether....you can make a regular diet of iron supplements, such as yellow dock molassas syrup...or lots of leafy greens....or take pills, which will work also, but need a prescription....but I think Meniers is about digestable iron and minerals...
@yoki how is your tinnitus and vision now? Any improvement? Glad to hear people are recovering! And thank you for your weekly posts!
I still have tinnitus. Most of the time I don't really notice it since I'm distracted by other things. But at night when I'm getting ready to sleep and it's quiet in the house, the tinnitus is very noticeable. My vision hasn't really gotten better nor worse. I'm finding I'm relying a lot more on wearing glasses that I had gotten for driving at night.
@cimcar266 I hope she does better with time. I'm 4 days post 3rd full Moderna dose. ( I'm autoimmune so must have 4 full doses.)

@tabby ASPRIN IS KNOW TO CAUSE TINNITUS!! It's "ototoxic" and many people get tinnitus from just 1 aspirin (like me!). Read about it...definitely do NOT take aspirin if you ave tinnitus!
Thanks, yes I am aware of that. Unfortunately many other drugs cause tinnitus too such as NSAIDS (ibuprofen, aleve), some antibiotics, some diuretics, some anxiety meds like ssri's. Even some foods aggravate tinnitus like coffee, sodium, sugars, saturated fats, alcohol. Vitamin deficiency can also cause tinnitus. It's a minefield out there.👍
I have had tinnitus for over twenty years now. I had no idea ibuprofen could cause it! I have noticed that tonic water makes it really loud and noisy for a few hours after drinking it! Have to drink Gin and tonic without the tonic!
@lmkk my symptoms also flare before my period. My symptoms are more cardiovascular and muscular. I have tachycardia, fatigue, muscle pain. All my tests have been normal so far. My PCP suggested to see an endocrinologist. I told her that my symptoms get worse before my period.
Has anyone checked their cortisol level?
During my second hospital visit, they diagnosed me with POTS. My symptoms started an hour after my second shot of the Pfizer vaccine. My life has not been the same since. I will write more about my story at a later time.
Same thing here with the Pfizer. All my crazy symptoms of pins and needles, weakness in limbs began 30minutes after my first Pfizer. Over the following weeks I developed dizziness, eye problems, gastrointestinal disorders, pain in bones, brain fog, migraines, tinnitus to name but a few. I haven't felt right since the vaccine. The sad thing is that while I do feel much better than I did nearly four months ago I can't remember what my old normal felt like. I think my brain and body has just adapted to feeling rough and malease all the time.

I hadn't considered cortisol could be behind symptoms flaring up. I will be definitely asking my neurologist about this when I see them and ask about testing it. Thanks.
I am so thankful to have found this forum, I am NOT crazy after reading all of your comments. I was a healthy 50 yr old female when I had my 2nd Pfizer vaccine on 5-5-2021, and within 20 minutes of the shot I thought I was having a heart attack - 911 responded but by the time they were done assessing me my heart rate/blood pressure had returned to a normal rate and I was told "maybe you should have had something to eat" or "get some Gatorade to drink and go home and rest". So, I did. Ate, drank fluids, went home and slept the rest of the evening/night. A week later, same thing - excessive heart rate, blood pressure all over the place - but it went back to normal almost as quick as it came on. Another 3 weeks of episodes followed, along with a doctor visit with my primary. Since then I have seen a cardiologist, who confirmed the vaccine was most likely the cause, but nothing further - echocardiogram and I wore a heart monitor for 30 days and end result is my heart is healthy and no abnormalities, vaccine most likely caused mild infection that had since cleared up. As the weeks have progressed from May 5th, I have continued to develop the same/similar symptoms that you all have described - I describe it best as "disconnected" feeling, vision issues (I can see, just feels like my brain has a hard time connecting my vision to what I'm seeing), I'm on the verge of fainting/dizziness a lot of the time even after a full nights rest, hands/feet tingling, but my biggest complaint is the random "buzzing" or "vibrating" feeling I get almost daily now. I had to really focus and assess is it in my head or am I feeling all of these very disturbing physical symptoms because of the vaccine - I can only come to the conclusion it is all caused by the vaccine since NONE existed prior to my 2nd Pfizer shot. Frustrating to say the least. I have a new primary care doctor, and am waiting for lab work to see what next steps are.
My question to you all is have any of you had auto immune issues that have been identified after the vaccine, I feel like maybe this has woke a sleeping giant in my body possibly. It's nice to read some of you had symptoms 6mo+ but are now starting to see some of them dissipate, I can only hope that will happen for me. I appreciate reading all of your comments, it helps.
I don’t know if anyone else had been diagnosed with dyskinesia, but when docs can’t determine what you have or why, it’s a common diagnosis. They know something is off with a patient, but can’t figure it out so label the visit as dyskinesia. In my family the diagnosis has become reason for a good laugh. “Oh you must have dyskinesia!” they say when some one is suffering from or complaining about something strange.
I initially got the diagnosis for a migraine that led me to an emergency room due to similar symptoms of a stroke, but wasn’t. That was about 15 years ago.
Since having my second PF injection I now get migraine symptoms daily. Today I woke up with a mild migraine headache and paralyzed left hand and fingers but also with one amazing epiphany. It being, that I am really having “brain farts” rather than full fledged migraines of the type I had on a occasion pre PF injections. The vaccine has somehow disrupted my brain. So now I really wonder how I got so lucky along with others on this forum to have these neurological side effects. Docs don’t know why or how to help most of us. I also have to ask why is no one talking about us and further more “why me?”…
@arica30 It’s so shit! I just hope our bodies get back on track! I’m all fairness I’m 5 months out. I had a good week last week where symptoms was not as bad but out of no where I get a flare up 👎 hope you start to feel better
Bless you and everyone in here that have been dealing with this mystery crap for 5 months. I cannot imagine. I’m two weeks in and am miserable. I upped my Vitamin D3 and OLE as well as been drinking that detox drink mentioned in a link in here and felt some bit of relief for a few hours two days in a row. 🙏
Hi everyone,I’m new here
I am 33 male was extremely healthy pre vaccine serving as a full time fireman and now currently on FMLA struggling to make a shift.
Like you I am suffering from chronic dizziness -blurred vision, face numbness on right side , fatigue, joint pain and muscle aches. I received both injections vaccine back in December of 2020 , it’s a year later I am still suffering from autoimmune symptoms.
I have seen several doctors to include , 2 rheumatologist, 1 optometrist, 1 neurologist, 1 ent and even an Acupuncturist and also hospitalized 2 times in the last 12 months - I have had at least a dozen blood draws and 3 MRI of my brain and spine all resulting in positive results except for the not so positive ANA test which is leaning towards sjorgens but other marker fail to qualify it as my medical issue. I am still undiagnosed and unmedicated.
I need hope ! My faith in my god and savior has disappeared . I cry every single day I miss my life , I am scared beyond belief. Any words of encouragement or suggestions would help , perhaps I am missing something that you have already tried . I have a VGN test tomorrow 11-18-21 with my ENT , if anyone has any advice going into this test please be my guest . Thanks !
I took my 1st Astra Zeneca shot on 02 March 2021. After a week, around 09 March, I started to notice floaters in both my eyes. Im 38yrs old and have had no previous vision problems.
I went to a ophthalmologist to get my eyes checked. After they dilated my pupils and conducted a thorough examination, there was no problems found. Only that my eyes were very dry due to long hours of screen usage (10hrs daily due to the pandemic lockdowns/remote work etc), so was prescribed some eye drops and a gel to use before bed. My floaters have reduced to a point where Im not affected by them. Apart from the floaters I also get eye strain, especially towards the end of the day while watching television.
Funnily even my Mom who got her Astra Zeneca 1st shot on 02 March 2021, also had floaters develop in Feb 2021, BEFORE her first shot. Neither of us had Covid, at least that we know of.
I now got my second Astra Zeneca Shot on 28 May 2021, after the recommended 12 weeks. I am now awaiting to see if there is any further deterioration or onset of floaters. Already on day 12 after the 2nd shot, I feel I am seeing a little more floaters than just before the 2nd shot.
I have read about something called covid-mimicry, ie some people when vaccinated experience similar symptoms of covid, but more research needs to be done.
@abi2021 I was wondering if your floaters worsened after the second shot. Also, can please share the eye drops and get that you were prescribed initially?
@nath7 oh that’s such great news! It gives us all reassurance too!
after my last visit to the doctor I just stopped thinking about any other diseases and I’ve already been feeling much better. I feel the vertigo, brain fog and dizziness have reduced. I still have floaters which makes me feel like I’m dizzy sometimes but then I realise it’s my vision more than anything else.
I am able to function at 70% (would get tired in the afternoons but I wake up very early so my fatigue is combined with that) but I can play tennis, exercise and most of all, I found my laughter again! It’s a great cure!
I wish a speedy recovery from now onwards and hopefully you’ll see the end of it very soon!
