Also quick poll.. Anyone worse today than usual?
Yesterday my right side - leg, foot, and from right side waist down - seemed to be a tad better. But the left side not (had jab left arm). Worse was yet to come... I managed to make it up the stairs, and was in my PJ's and getting into bed. Left foot and leg so numb and "not cooperating", that I did not notice until it was too late that my foot had slid away and I fell. Not far to fall, thank heaven, but still.... Took me half an hour to get off the floor! Sheer iron determination got me into bed. Once I was in bed, I did all kinds of exercises with my feet, ankles, legs, buttocks. ANd I massaged my legs etc. Slept a few hours...
This morning I managed to make it down the stairs... sheer damn luck! I felt jittery all day, and fearful of falling again. Time for bed soon, and crawl back up the stairs.
Once again burst into tears... I was active and well before that damned jab. In honesty, I am consumed with fury over what happened. I should've listened to my intuition and avoided those 2 jabs.
Anyway, I phoned my health insurer this afternoon, and asked for medical advice. Told her what had happened, and what I was coping with. She strongly advised me to contact C-Support which has been set up by the Dutch Ministry of Health etc. It is to help/support etc people who suffer from Long Covid, AND (HURRAH! they've acknowledged it!!) those who suffer long term side Cov-vax side effects. I registered with them, and tomorrow morning I hope to speak to someone. I'll let you know when I know more.
In all, I'd say that today was pretty miserable.
Anyone had swollen lymph nodes in the back of the neck that hurt? Hoping it’s nothing serious 😢 I’ve seen people saying swollen lymph nodes are a side affect and I am really rundown with a cold so hoping it’s just that! Can’t help but worry though
Hi. How are your swollen lymph nodes these days? Hope they have settled down for you.
Hello,
I feel I am coming down with the POTS as well.
can I ask of any other symptoms you may of had that I don’t believe I have seen you mention?
did you have
shortness of breath at all?
high heart rate upon moving?
dull chest pains?
look forward to hearing from you and hope you are well!
Looking for people struggling with symptoms like me and guidance about second shot! I am a 33 year old female with OK health prior to COVID & Vaccine.
I had Covid in April 2021, mild cough, low-grade fever, horrible headache but nothing too concerning UNTIL I started having neurological symptoms. I developed hives after eating anything, I was itchy all over, my entire back was burning as if I was sun-burned by no rash or anything. I had purple and white blotches on the bottoms of my feet, livedo reticularis all over my skin and what looks like Reynaud's. Couldn't taste or smell for 1 day each but then had barely any saliva to swallow or eat and I lost 10 lbs while with COVID. My heart would go to 134bpm just from getting out of bed. I tested negative two weeks later but dizziness, blurry vision, POTS (heart rate goes up when when I stand up), purple blotches on the bottom of my feet and Reynauds stayed but got slightly better over time. I still got brain buzzing.
I got my first Pfizer vaccine one August 2nd 2021. I felt like I was drugged, major brain fog but nothing too bad. A week later, I was driving with my kids and my vision got foggy, my brain felt funny and I felt like I was going to pass out. I pulled over at the supermarket and called an ambulance. I was breathing deep to relax but you can imagine the stress of feeling like this while driving with little kids. The ambulance came and said it was a panic attack. These have been happening almost every day. I don't have a history of panic attacks. My doctor called them also panic attacks. One day in the morning I was in my kitchen and I got so dizzy and disoriented, I couldn't get words out or figure out what to eat, I thought maybe this whole time it has been blood sugar. I tested my blood sugar and it was 64. I went to the neighbor and she gave me juice, I felt better. My husband's employer had a continuous glucose monitor that they gave me and I put it on. I waited a month to see an endo, they said I have reactive hypoglycemia now, because one pop-tart raises my sugar to 250, then dropping to below 70 in 15 past the peak. All other bloodwork was OK. But the dizzy spells and disorientation persist. It is not even dizziness, its like a faint feeling but also feels like when you are stopped in traffic and you go slowly forward, but another car next to you goes backward or something and you feel all out of whack. Anyway, I have since been testing my sugar when I feel lightheaded and not every time is my sugar actually low. Sometimes is it even high post meal. Sometimes I get crazy hunger pangs right after eating and feel hunger and my mind gets very disoriented. When I drive, I get blurry vision.
I am sorry for the long post, I just don't know what to do. I don't want COVID to affect me bad and I am very afraid of the second shot and booster given how I have been feeling. Everyone tells me that I lost my mind which in part at this point, I am going crazy because these are daily issues. I had no money for doctors anymore, I had to quit my job and even a low carb diet is not helping. I am afraid of supplements because the other issue that I have been having post COVID is that I get itchy from random food and medicine which has never affected me.
At this point, I am scared to eat anything that I haven't had since Covid, I am scared to take supplements and I am scared of everything because so far Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Regular Doctor, ER Doctors, and Gynecologists (symptoms get worse during certain times of the month depending on cycle) have all said that vaccine does not cause this. I feel like it is a full body autonomic issue concerning vision, all hormones, fking everything!
Please let me know if you have experienced symptoms like mine for this long and if anyone got it after 1st vaccine and felt better after 2nd or if you had it after Covid and how the vaccine affected you.
Thank You and wishing everyone to recover!
@aido1994 I got POTS during COVID and it got worse after my first vaccine which was 4 months post COVID. I have been so lightheaded randomly, my heart pounds when I get up or do any activity and I developed reactive hypoglycemia. I got my first vaccine on August 2nd, 2021 and am still dizzy every day. If you find any help, please let me know. I have to raise two kids and I literally can barely figure out everyday how to go get food and drive safely.
@aido1994 I feel a dull discomfort especially after physical activity. I wouldn't call it pain yet but it does not feel as it did before I had Covid and the vaccination
@marisanna21 Hi, I'm post with first pfizer shot and am on my 4th mos mark. I have shared a lot of your symptoms, but thank GOD i passed them. I also developed an allergic attack upon the onset of the vaccine from random medicines or food, but not serious and they are all gone. The hellish months was 2.5 mos of the 4mos and the rest was minimal and am 100% better now and so far days are great than before. I wont be getting any vaccine now too and will keep recuperating, I am also taking supplements since day 1, though in moderate amount, random times too and they are the only ones where I have no reactions. I also started juicing a lot and healthy smoothies which greatly help me too. I feel you about constant dr visits because we all (here) share the same sentiments, they will never rule in that vaccine affects us. What to do. So I have some mos like DEC last year where I never visited a GP and stopped it. I was healthy anyway. I want my mind to go back to where it is before and NOT let the side effects affect, its hard to be honest but I did it all and triumph out of it. I take it day by day. The only latest tests i had was my random mammogram and ultrasound cos I feel lumpy earlier this mos and I'm also 37 so im due to those tests. All tests came normal, Thank GOD. I also stopped a lot of stuff from my diet, coffee, less carb/fats/oil, more on plant based and white meat only and workout 3-4x in a week. Just continue the journey, believe that you will heal. Moreover, I wont be getting the 2nd dose or any covid vaccine in the future because I had bad reactions and its like russian roulette; , if you take it and you're fine afterwards then you're fine, but what if? So I dont want to gamble it. I have travel plans, recolation but all will be put on hold cos nothing is worthy when I will end up getting into that rabbit hole again. So, till then, I will wait, PRAY and stay strong. lastly, Praying you will be heal and everyone of us. GBU
@jessiekhri Thank you for your kind words and your story! I am glad that you are better and am hopeful as well! Which supplements have you been taking, which perhaps have helped your symptoms? Thank you again!
It's been a week since I got my 3rd shot or booster shot. The side effects the day after was worse than the 2nd shot. I couldn't sleep because my legs ached so bad. I was having chills and sweats. I had a constant fever usually around 100 to 99.5. I slept very little the next night and the Second day after my booster felt like I had a hangover with a headache that lasted most of the day and brain fog, exhausted from no sleep and my body aches. I was thinking I would be fine the third day. No, I had numbness in my right foot and toes on the third and fourth day and I was still exhausted. Today is the seventh day after my booster, and I'm still exhausted. The numbness in my foot is mostly gone but my shins in both legs have been achy all day. I have been freezing at night lying in my bed with all the covers and socks on my feet which isn't normal for me. I'm still exhausted. I've been trying to take naps even with the kids home from school. I can't nap because my anxiety that this isn't normal fills my head. I have had dizzy spells where I take a step on my carpet and my house feels like it swayed back and forth. Everyone I talked to said the second shot was the worst for them. This third shot or booster wiped me out. I really hope we don't have to get a fourth shot. I don't think my body can take it. I broke down and cried yesterday from the feeling of being so weak for this long. I really hope I get my energy back soon, and brain fog and leg aches don't return. I'm 40 years old with 3 small kids who depend on me. This is scary.
Hi, I got my bloods done and my sugar level has risen to 7.8 (7.7 is normal). My cholesterol has also increased to 5.6 which is border line. I had my bloods done exactly a year ago and everything was normal then pre vax. My sugar used to be 5.0 something. I have to have a repeat in a couple of weeks. I believe the vax has done this, I don't drink, smoke, eat sugary foods, drink sugary drinks and I eat lots of veg, hardly any meat. If over the past year my sugar levels were even higher, is it possible my symptoms have been similar to diabetes? My husband is a diabetic and I used to check my sugar levels with his sugar level testing strips and they have always been low. I just hope my next test is normal, I don't want to be labelled as a diabetic if this is a temporary thing caused by the vax.
Hello everyone yesterday I had a horrible relapse while I was in a business meeting, I was very scared, I want to keep my job, so I couldn't help but cry remembering the times when I was happy and not anymore, I cried all night. I am devastated. I was so desperate. I had a suicidal thought.

I am so sorry. I've been where you are. It feels as if it'll never end. It's especially hard when a relapse comes on while at work. Having to pretend to be okay when you are anything but is challenging.
I carry a bag of medication and supplements to work and I've found this to be helpful in controlling the symptoms enough to get me through the day. The most helpful of these are a quercetin/bromelain supplement and a nasal spray (Flonase or Nasacort.) I also carry ibuprofen (in case the inflammation cannot be controlled by the quercetin/bromelain) and a snack, as I have episodes of low blood sugar (?) that cause me to become weak and shaky. And finally, I carry a 40 ounce water bottle to make sure I'm hydrated (I have episodes of extreme thirst in which I can drink 80+ ounces of water and continue to feel thirsty.) Is there anything that has helped you? If so, you could try bringing that to work in case you relapse.
Have you tried speaking with your supervisor or human resources? After 3.5 months, I broke down and told my supervisor about my health. She is now accommodating my disability and I'm working in positions that are much less physically demanding. I learned (from this forum!) that your workplace is required by law to accommodate you. You might also have the option of disability insurance (my employer did and I had no idea!) or a leave of absence.
Hang in there. Take it one day at a time. That's all we can do. We're here to support you on the tough days. ❤️
@rainyday Was your sugar also affected by the vax? I developed reactive hypoglycemia and crazy sugar spikes after carbs. All is this debilitating, 5 month post 1st vax and I did not get my 2nd.
