I am a 30 year old male that began passing a very large volume of gas accompanied by severe heartburn after every meal, roughly 7 years ago. About 2 years ago I stopped passing gas and began belching in equal amounts. Shortly after the belching began I started getting a rapid pulse that would go away after the belching ceased. Now the rapid pulse is often present even if I haven't been belching and is now accompanied by tension headaches, dizziness, light-headedness, and palpitations. Symptoms typically get worse upon standing. I have had a stress test and echo-cardiogram that did not reveal anything concerning. I currently take omeprazole.
