Did any of you experienced a sudden eyelid twitch after your COVID vaccine? If so, please tell me it did resolve/any advice.

My first shot of Moderna was a inconsequential but the second shot left this unsettling side effects and I am scared it won't go away. It has been 3-4 days. it started in both eyes but now it's only on the left eye but it's more frequent.

yes.. I developed involuntary muscle twitches throughout my body after the Moderna vaccination. literally within a day or two.. I had no history of this prior.  It has been over a year and I live daily with the issue.  The severity changes day to day along with location.  It happens mostly on the side I received the first dosage.  It started with my upper pectoral muscle (directly beside the injection site) rapidly twitching the day after the vaccination.  It lasted for several weeks then spread to other limbs on my body including my face. Again on my left side (injection side).  1.5 years later and I suffer from daily eye lid convulsions.  They will not go away.  If I mention this to anyone, they tell me it has nothing to do with the vaccination and I get silenced. Again I have no history of this prior.

After I got my third jab (Moderna), I noticed of some twitches after few weeks in my calves.
Some weeks later twitches were at different parts of my body; like my back, arms, neck and left eyelid.
They are still there on daily basis.  Changing the place each time.

Also light headedness or dizzyness accompanies them.

It is surely not BPPV. I hope it is not a neurological disease.

Unfortunately no better by me, even up to some degree worse.
I can feel muscle weakness.

Anybody who got better of Moderna side effects or Pfizer side effects after months?

@chadgkahlyahoo-com - I have experienced eye twitching after my second Covid jab. I have had blood test after blood test and even a MRI scan. Seems to fall on deaf ears with the Drs!

I have the same experience.  I received all 3 Moderna shots in my left arm.  The day after my 3rd shot I started with left eyelid twitching.  Days later it moved down my face, and then lips and chin.  At the same time my shoulder (joint) hurt like I had bursitis for months…. Never connected the two.

The twitching never went away but around 6 months later my left bicep twitched nonstop for 6 days straight. That freaked me out, and I went to see my doctor. Ultimately a number of tests (blood, rheumatoid arthritis markers, EMG, etc) which came back inconclusive. Like you, the doctors think it’s anxiety, or I must be a conspiracy theory nut. Correlating this back to the COVID-19 shot falls on deaf ears.

Fast forward- it’s 18 months later. I experience, random muscle twitching on both sides of my body. Both sides of my face, my biceps, triceps, forearm, neck, back, buttocks, legs, and even my hands.  It doesn’t last long, and nobody notices unless they pointed out. What concerns me most is the tremors I feel throughout my body. There is muscle weakness, and joint pain. I’ve seen physiatrists, and neurologists to rule out diseases like Parkinson’s, or ALS.  Thank God those don’t appear to be the cause, but WTF?  I hate talking about it with my family. I don’t want them to think I’m nuts, but this is always present. It’s annoying… It feels like somebody’s always tapping you from the inside out, randomly, somewhere… incessantly.

I’ve tried different supplements like magnesium with no effect. It makes me wonder where this is going… Is it going to turn into something nefarious? Will it ever get better or disappear? Or am I stuck on this ride for the rest of my life?  I’d love answers if anyone figures this out.

@hu80 I still suffer from random muscle twitching.  It is not as frequent.  In the beginning the muscles in my eye lid were firing off to the point my eye lid was fluttering significantly.  It has slowly been getting less and less, can go several days without it acting up now.  However, today my left eyelid is twitching again.  If I exercise I get twitching in my right butt cheek muscle.  Some days I get twitching in ham strings, lower leg, upper and lower arm.  The odd time it is in the upper left chest where it originated the day after I had the first Moderna vaccination.  My nurse practitioner had politely said it could be vaccine related, but they do not have a specific set of side effect to say yes or no. We would need to investigate it further and to keep an eye on it.  I have been living with it for nearly 2 years now.  Last September, my wife brought covid home after a trip she was on, I ended up getting covid but not to any significant degree.  couple days of flu like symptoms.  Oddly, after getting covid, the twitching reduced itself.  I have tried many things thinking it might be some kind of stimulant like caffeine related.  I gave up coffee months ago, but no go.  Still have twitching, but to a less degree now. Hopefully with a bit more time it will be gone.  It is definitely not as worse as it was in the beginning.
