@gchris24 I had the same problem. Ask for lotamax sm. It’s an eye drop for 10 days. It will help. And believe me. It’s because of the vaccine. It causes inflammation behind your eye. 100%. You need the eye drops. It will save your eyes. You may have to pay 250$ if they are not covered by insurance but it will save you. I had the exact same thing cause of vaccine. Ask your eye doctor to prescribe it . It’s a must.
@myadan thanks so much!! I’m seeing my eye specialist tomorrow so will mention it him. All the do it’s I’ve seen say no there’s no known side effects with eye pain for the vaccine etc etc and I’m like well nothing else can explain this! Are your eyes okay now after using the eye drops? Did the inflammation come back?? It’s been three weeks and I’m completely exhausted from the constant ache and pressure. Thanks again for your reply x
@waseem1 had that after first Moderna shot and then developed eye floaters my vision is never the same since 5 months 😔😔
@gchris24 Hello! I am sorry this has happened to you. I very much have been feeling the same thing. I also got mine on 15th Sep and haven't got the second because I am scared of a reaction like the first. How are you going since last week? I have visited two optometrists and an ophthalmologist - had a migraine for the first time two weeks ago and very achey eyes. Also very dry too and heaps of floaters. Today I made an appointment with a retina/vitreous specialist. On the phone, the receptionist said that the ophthalmologist I will be seeing has been working with people that have experienced eye issues post vaccine. I am 32 years old with no history of eye issues.
It is not a coincidence - it is a result of the jab. Keep trusting your instincts and keep searching for answers - don't let them dismiss you! We need to be heard. The aching is hard! I think it is some sort of eye inflammation. Try eating anti-inflammatory foods, and avoiding pro-inflammatory foods. As many plants as possible 🙂 Let us know how you go!
I had my first Moderna on May 28 my vision has drastically chang do eye floaters the size of bug clouds moving seeing optometrist said it's normal you are 41 , ophtalmologsit said don't know why this is happening so fast ..so desperate don't want to go for second jab please anyone with advices or samemeye issue went for the second jab help me
@lili23 I just got back from the eye clinic. I've had nothing but probs since my first jab in April!
Not just that my prism and scrips stopped working the month after my first jab (yes, they do change & I was due for a new scrip, but I've had two big eye bleed/hemorrhages, severe photophobia, vertigo, dropping things... and ever diminishing/waning vision.
It's like I went from a fully functioning independent editor/writer, to fully disabled. I can only get comfortable after painkillers and sitting in the dark. Any light or movement triggers my headache and vertigo!
The intern was about to send me on my way and his boss, a feisty attending ripped him a new one in front of me and is sending me for a CT scan and emergency neuro consult. She was very interested in my symptoms vs vaccines and said, "We've had another woman come in with a host of strange symptoms...we're going to have to look at both of you in a different context....
I have been nothing but pro vaxx but now...?

@dino YES! I am going to share this with my GP. All kinds of crazy going on with these vaccines. I've written about my own issues here...can't do it again because of all the problems I'm having with my eyes at present!
I am very interested in what your Dr discovered after all these tests...unbelieveable. Thank you for sharing. I know how hard it can be just to sit up and focus, let alone write anything.
@judes Please keep us updated on your progress 🙂
I am now 7 weeks post vax with no improvements. Flarex drops did nothing but increase my eye pressure - so I'm off them now - I think this contributed to my photophobia. Still sensitive to lights but not as bad as before. Floaters still present and annoying. My eyes just feel tired all the time - stingy and sometimes sore.
I am seeing a retina/vitreous specialist tomorrow in the city who has apparently been seeing a number of patients post vax. I'll let you know what they find 🙂 🙂
I am having exact same problems but I am yet to take the second dosage of this shitty vaccine! Also went to optometrist and he could not say for sure it was related and I am scared to take second dosage as do not want to have the other eye equally affected as well. I have made an appointment to see an eye specialist (which is very costly of course) something that I did not have to do but for this vaccine! It has been almost two weeks and not going away and similarly, I have sensitivity to lights and t is my left eye the side where I had taken that shitty vaccine!
sorry to hear about you awful experience post this vaccine. Can I ask if you had taken your shots in the right arm hence causing the discomfort in your right eye then? I think we should ask that whatever costs we incur should be covered by the relevant pharmaceutical companies. Why should we go through this and pay for our discomfort as well!
@rosemarya89 Hi rosemary - How are you doing? 🙂 I'm still in full spin cycle but eyes a little better...(Help! 🙂
Actually, my photophobia/headaches a re the slightest but better. I have this vision of myself last week, stumbling around in the dark in dark shades and a Tilly hat (that brim!) and sobbing because my BF wouldn't turn off the last reaining track light in the kitchen.
My eyes are half wide open today...seriously, the photophobia is a little better and I can only attribute that to just resting and staying in the dark for a few days....
Please let us know how you;re doing!

@rosemarya89 Appreciate you giving us an update and also looking forward to another update from you after your visit with the retina/vitreous specialist. I saw a retina specialist last month for my floaters and he didn't care about the floaters. He was just happy that his thorough exam discovered that I didn't have a detached retina or tears. I was thankful for that reassurance and I told him that I have had two other eye doctor visits for this and I was told both times that my retina was fine so I am mainly here for my floaters since they are causing a lot of distress. He still didn't seem to care and said that I could do surgery for that when I am a bit older. That's it and I was shown out the door.
Hi alli just got the 1st dose of Sinopharm vaccine and I m full of flashes and floaters.
