Details

Dr. Kristin Perricelli received a masters degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2005. Kristin worked at New York University Langone Medical Center-Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, the leader in rehabilitation worldwide, from 2005-2011.  She practiced in multiple specialty areas including acute care, chest physical therapy, adult inpatient acute rehabilitation, pediatric outpatient and inpatient acute rehabilitation, women’s health, cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation.  She ultimately held a permanent senior position in the outpatient vestibular therapy department, the first of its kind in the tri-state area, performing exclusively vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy.  Kristin received a certification in vestibular rehabilitation from Emory University School of Medicine in 2009 and went on to receive her doctoral degree in physical therapy from Temple University in 2010.  Recognizing the importance of this treatment specialty and its lack of availability on Long Island, Kristin started her practice in Nassau County in 2011, providing vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy to local residents.  She continued the pursuit of her passion and expertise in vestibular therapy receiving her certification in pediatric vestibular rehabilitation in 2013.  Kristin is one of the few physical therapists who are certified in both adult and pediatric vestibular rehabilitation.

Dr. Kristin Perricelli is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Vestibular Disorders Association.
