Dr. Rome is a licensed Physical Therapist with a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Washington University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. He attended attend Duke University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Rome is a board certified orthopedic specialist, a certified vestibular specialist, and a Maitland trained orthopedic manual therapist. Dr. Rome also specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and spinal injuries, lower extremity evaluation and orthotic fabrication, post-operative rehab, as well as postural conditions contributing to chronic headaches.

Dr. Rome is regarded an expert in vestibular diagnostics and treatment and is referred to by top medical doctors in NYC for vestibular consultation.  Dr. Rome utilizes infrared video nystagmography to diagnose and treat vestibular conditions.  He lectures to medical groups on vestibular disorders and how to screen for these conditions in the ER, urgent care, and outpatient medical offices.  Dr. Rome has close relationships with medical experts in the field of neuro-otology, headache/migraine neurology, and vestibular audiology.  He can facilitate referrals when necessary.

Dr. Rome’s motivation for easy and inexpensive access to well instructed evidence-based continuing education led him to develop Physical Therapy Nation, a website dedicated to teaching advanced physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques through streaming video. Dr. Rome also serves as an advisor and consultant to startups in the physical therapy space.
