Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) is a common vestibular disorder causing vertigo and dizziness. It happens when tiny calcium crystals, called otoconia or "ear rocks," collect in the inner ear. When you move your head, these crystals shift and send false signals to the brain.
