Spinning Out of Control: PT Evaluation and Treatment of Chronic Dizziness

This online, on demand course offered by the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery is available until June 1, 2026.

This course is designed for the specialties of Neurology and Otolaryngology.

Course objectives include:

1.  Participants will show an understanding of chronic dizziness and its common causes and related factors.
2.  Participants will identify the main clinical features that differentiate PPPD, Vestibular Migraine, and Dysautonomia.
3.  Participants will outline key aspects of the physical therapy assessment for chronic dizziness, differentiating between triggers and perpetuating factors.
4.  Participants will be able to describe and list essential elements of collaborative treatment strategies for chronic dizziness.
