@gm1988: I recently had a "high positive" ANA test result and have an appointment with a rheumatologist on the 27th of this month. I will be sure to report back here as to what that provider tells me and what additional tests they run and what the prognosis is. Based on what I've read on this site, a positive ANA after a covid vaccine typically does not result in any specific auto-immune disease. Rather, it is just our immune system's hyper-reaction to the vaccine. Still not a good situation, but it probably means out body is still pumping out the spike protein and we have widespread inflammation. Fingers crossed and try to keep positive thoughts. Also, my only issue (so far) has been tinnitus, which I've now had for 11 weeks and didn't present until 6 weeks after my booster shot. I started taking vitamin C, D3 and B12 supplements, along with turmeric, zinc and melatonin abut 2 weeks ago. Reportedly could take 4-6 weeks before those have any real effect.
looks like exactly my situation. I had several more test following the the positive ANA. one of them was lupus antibody test which came back negative. So it is not lupus. Also I had a second ANA test which came back negative?? Interesting. So timing of the blood tests seem to be important.
So at this point after so many blood tests what I know is that: there is widespread inflammation in my body (blood tests show inflammation). Supplements did not really help me. Only prednisolone worked in the beginning but now even prednisone does not seem to help.
Actually I had a very nice two weeks since a few days ago. I even thought I was getting better but then suddenly I was sick again. so I am waiting for the next period of remission in my bed.
I am still taking all the recommened supplements (NAC, ALA, Quercetin+Zinc, D3K2, resveretrol, magnesium, milk thistle, Liposamal C, ivermectin, various histamins and montelucast) also several herbal tea stuff (pine needle, star anise, fennel...) but I feel like they dont help at all..
@ksharky13 how are you feeling now are things easing up since you started on meds? Vitamins rather
@asanders omg I ordered all of this as well it’s almost like we gotta take this as soon as symptoms begin if not then I wonder if it’s permanent damage it caused why it’s not working
I developed hypercusis tinnitus and eye issues 6 weeks post moderna. My 3rd jab dunno why I got the third jab I regret it 10000000%. It wasn’t even mandatory. I remember this little bout of the same symptoms happening to me 6 weeks post my first jab but it all went away within a couple of days. Now after my Third it’s been since January 10th 2022. It’s ruined my life. I have to wear a ear plug in my left ear. But I’m wondering if because my eye is affected from the sound or vibration does that mean it’s damaged?
it started off with just a weird eye like a strain then hypercusis came on then dizzy and buzzing feeling in my head made my head feel funny I can’t sleep at night only get 5 hours of sleep with frequent waking up. Mri ct bloodwork are good hearing tests are good.
the eye thing caused me to have anxiety and then my nerves felt like they were shot. Then occasionally I felt a weirdness in my calves on both sides of my legs. It would come and go. In the beginning of January it would only be hypercusis or hypersensitive hearing in the afternoon when I’d wake up I would think things are better then as the day went it go worse. But the head buzzing feeling was always there. Which then made my eye feel strained or pain. Then the painkinda went to my other eye. The wasn’t always there. But when I focused on something my eye would hurt. I seen the eye doctor everything is normal even my optic nerves no changes to vision either. Although I did develop two floaters after I was exposed to a loud sound without ear protection. Man that was awful. Anyone having the same symptoms? I ordered all the herbal stuff recommended from that protein spike detox I’m hoping it works. Omg. I feel so alone so down wishing it would go away I feel like such a burden to my family. Work is impossible these days just so much damn noise. I was fine after my second jab too.

I have occasional eye pain but no problems with my sight. Sometimes I feel immense heat on right side of my face together with right eye pain. I think it is vagus nerve inflammation.
My fırst tinnitus started at around month 2 or 3. It was one ear and it was like butterfly wing flapping. After a month it was gone. But then at around month 7, a metallic tinnutus began. Now I hear metalling buzzing in both my ears and I have sound hypersensitivity. But I guess it is not so bad because I dont need to use earplugs yet. And also my tinnitus comes and goes.
My major problems are heat sensation moving from place to place in my body , moving bone and muscle pain, pins and needlees, and nonstop twitches and jerks.
Even a small exercise or carrying groceries cause my arms to twitch and then to wobble. I am scared to use my arms. My legs are not so bad but I have weird pain, popping sounds, and heat problems in my legs and feet. Oh and dizziness.. sometimes I feel like I am sailing in a boat.
Sometimes I think this is temprorary but then I realize its been nearly 10 months and it is getting worse. I am trying every supplement I can find but nothing seems to work.
Also the duration between flares is getting smaller. I guess eventally there wont be any remissions for me but all flares.
@margaret2022: I think it's too early to expect much from the vitamins and supplements. I'm trying to be patient and give it 4-6 weeks. I'm quite positive that I have widespread inflammation through my body and so far the only issue that has presented is the tinnitus. It's been 4months since my booster shot and 11 weeks since the tinnitus presented. I do have a fear that any damage the inflammation may have done could be permanent at this point. That said, there are some (not many) stories on here from people who had their tinnitus resolve after 4-6 months or more, so I remain cautiously optimistic. What scares me the most are the stories on here of people who have had new symptoms appear several months out. Bottom line is we all got injected with a level of vaccine that was way too high and totally unnecessary, and we will likely never know the truth. I was perfectly healthy before the vaccine and now have no idea what the vaccine is doing to my body every day. All we can do is continue to support each other, force the medical community to recognize and treat us, and hope that the truth will eventually come out.
@asanders: Sorry to hear that you are going through a similar situation. Can I ask how long has it been since your symptoms first started to appear? I'm hoping/praying that any damage done by the inflammation is not permanent. I find it hard to believe that an intra-muscular vaccine spread throughout so many people's bodies instead of staying local in the muscle. On top of that, how did that patter not come out in the clinical trials? There was a treasure trove of information recently released from Pfizer due to a FOIA request and the information is very damning. Basically Pfizer knew about massive adverse reactions and hid the information from the public (and probably the CDC although I feel they are in on it, too). Moderna has essentially clammed-up and are not even responding to news agency requests as news keeps coming out about adverse reactions like we all have experienced. Unfortunately for me, I was absolutely fine 8.5 months after my first 2 doses (Pfizer) and probably didn't need the booster, which I got anyway (Moderna). Should have never got the booster and should have stayed with Pfizer (Moderna has so much more of the mRNA in it). And now they are promoting another booster when all of this information is out there and needs long-term, controlled studies. Shame on all of them.
I must say I am feeling much better, I am sleeping very well. Occasionally I still feel mild symptoms like mild pain in left eye, funny feeling in arms, I am very tired on evenings and just want to go to bed. List of foods I had to cut out is long and it is a drastic change for me, and it is very challenging to eat this way. I think that after all that happened to me in last 5 months I have PTSD. I am very disappointed in the way this was forced to us and I will never see this world with the same eyes. Something in me died during this nightmare.
@mike411 hello there, I’ve been thinking about you and wondering about you and your high blood pressure. I hope things are settling down for you.
@lookingforanswers still quite high. saw your DM but don't have enough posts yet to be able to respond. I had major panic attack last week while in ER so they hospitalized me for 4 days because they thought I was mentally unstable. Sigh. So have to be as calm as possible going forwards dealing with doctors. BP is usually in the upper 140's to low 150s in AM and gets into 160s and sometimes 170s at night. Saw cardiologist today that specializes in resistant hypertension and he is doubling dose of one of my meds (my Labetalol - Alpha beta blocker) and if that doesn't work wants to add a diuretic end of next week. And then depending on how that goes, will further refine my meds in May. Told me an otherwise healthy person can live for quite some time ok with BPs that high before permanent damage and feels that BP issues from vaccines should resolve in months ahead. I'm 3 months in now. Most with BP issues that I've read have seen that symptom improve between months 6 to 9, with just a couple people still having major BP issues at 1yr; but those 2 also seemed to have ALOT of other symptoms. For me, at moment my other symptoms (burning skin sensations, ear twitches, random body muscle twitches, and rashes) are all less than they were earlier. If I could just get my BP down, my other symptoms are just a nuisance (presuming they don't get worse or I get new symptoms still from month 3+). If I more conservatively assume my BP should improve (not necessarily normal but better) around month 9, that would leave me 6 more months to get thru with some combination of meds.
@lookingforanswers not the greatest but better. I already had some insomnia before all of this that I was using melatonin for. Then after vaccine booster my insomnia got worse and had to up the melatonin dose. Then it go worse last month and had to add ambien. But last week, I've been able to cut back on ambien dose and it seems that last boost of insomnia may have been one of the BP meds they gave me (Amlodipine - a type of calcium channel blocker) because the extra bad insomnia started right after that and then started getting better a few days after stopping that med.
