I had the same reaction. About 10 days after the second shot I started getting so dizzy and disoriented I couldn’t drive.  I suffer from a neurological condition and it seems all those symptoms from that have been amplified as well.  It’s now been 2 weeks and today I’m in bed just riding this out hoping it will pass.

Hello everybody! Sorry if my english is rusty! I was so happy and exited to get my first shot 1. of april - Pfizer vaccine! I have a history of vertigo and tinnitus! 16 years ago, I had two operations in the inner ear for a perilymfatic fistula! 10 days after getting the vaccine, I woke up and I had ALL symptoms comming back from 16 years ago and a very bad and worsened tinnitus! Very High and pulsative! Nothing has improved yet! I have consulted my normal Doctor - a specialist and today I was at the hospital! The doctors at the hospital advised me - not to get the 2. Vaccine and stay at high dose steroids. 10 days of 50 mg. The vertigo expert, at the hospital said, that the 1. Shot is 85% effective after 14. days and no one should get a vaccine feeling sick at the same time! I hope this was informative!

@rosi12

I started getting dizzy 10 days after my second shot.  It’s now day 15 and I’m in bed cause I’m really disoriented and feeling flu-like.

Hi. I’m new here. Received my 1st Covid vaccine on Monday (Pfizer) & have been sick since that evening. Headache (migraine), nausea, exhausted, dizzy/lightheaded, and general malaise. My family thinks I’m nuts but I can hardly get out of bed. Not sure what to do at this point.

@rraymo1123 I did & it was pretty painful.  That's what confused me at first before I even considered that all my issues could be caused by the vaccine.  I thought maybe my posture (I work at a computer all day), & the pain kept moving so I didn't know whether it was my neck or sinuses/allergies, etc.  Regardless, the pain lasted about a week & then it just vanished.

I need advice please. I got the first Moderna shot on the April 6th, and no side effects on day one other than a little pain on arm. Next few days I felt tired and had migraines (but I suffer from chronic migraines so I didn't think anything of it), also experienced brain fog. However, the migraines are worse than usual and touching my head with my hand would hurt, like I had been punched on the head. After exactly six days of getting the first shot, I got the so-called Covid arm, it was painful and red and swollen. The next day, it was better. This entire week, which is week 2, has been pretty bad. Between horrible migraines, dizziness, congestion, body aches, and then today I have been extremely dizzy, congested and even confused.... Is this freaking normal, and will it go away. I am scared to get the second shot in two weeks. How is it possible that they don't talk about long term side effects?? Any one else feeling similar side effects as mine. Oh and I am in my early 40's....

I've only read 10 pages but it seems that the Oxford jab is your best bet.  I too have refused the jab but I've already had covid.  There seems to be an issue with the moderna and Pfizer jab in regards to dizziness.  No1 has mentioned Astra zeneca.

I'm not sure whether to have vaccine.  Everyone seems to get vertigo from the Pfizer and moderna vaccine.  Has anyone had any dizziness from Astra zeneca?  This is the one I didn't want to get l.  I don't care about side affects as long it's not vertigo!!   I've had covid this is another concern. I got very mild symptoms yet if I get the Vaccine I could be worse!

On Apr 2, I posted my reaction after taking two shots of Pfizer vaccines.  Today, I want to report that my rash reaction and dizziness both subsided completely.

I was doing some yoga, took rest when possible.  I thought it will never end, but last few days I have no problem and my life is back to normal.  Looks like the reaction to vaccine will subside with time.

AstraZeneca isn't available in the U.S., and I think most who are posting here are in the U.S., so they didn't get that one.  Maybe that's why we haven't heard much about it?

I wrote 2 days ago about the vertigo I was experiencing. Today I found a couple videos that seem to help. One is using accupressure points on forehead and wrist. The other are exercises by Doc Martin Camara.

I've also reported my symptoms to the CDC, a suggestiion made by the M.H. therapist to my son [who has Intellectual and physical disabilities.] So far my son says he's okay, but he doesn't localize pain or symptoms very well.

While I'm glad to do my bit by having gotten the 2 doses, I can't see getting boosters. I need to function adequately to care for my son, which I'm barely doing now with the dizziness/nausea/vertigo.

I kinda think any improvement at this point is having learned to avoid laying down during the day- and taking it really, really slow when getting up in the morning.
