@smileyoer

I think this is a decision only you can make. I personally had pfizer shot and reacted on the 2nd shot and am still unwell, not able to do things I want as too unwell and I had the vaccine because I was pressured by my workplace (healthcare) and because I wanted to protect others, also wanted to see my vulnerable brother who has been shielding since very first lock down. I am now not working currently I am on sick leave and have been too unwell to see my brother.

Your situation is likely different to mine but I would give it some serious thought and discuss all options with a few Dr's if you can so you can make an informed choice.

Bottom line is do you feel you can cope with further side effects etc.

Wishing you well x

I got symptoms after the 2nd pfizer shot and I won't be having anymore vaccines either. There is talk of a booster shot once you've had 2 shots but it's a massive no way from me!

They’d have to drag me kicking and screaming to get another one. No way.

@onaboatfeeling I think it’s Serc which is a brand name for Betahistine Dihydrochloride which is the exact same as what I’m taking

@yoki thank you for the reply. overall how long do you plan to maintain the supplement regiment? (I am 6 days in w/ a similar regiment & a pharmacist told me another week with the same dosage wouldn't hurt me)

Hi on a boat. Im glad you spoke to the pharmacist and he said you could go another week because I really didn't know enough to say. I really hope they help you find the way out. Are you staying with the same dose I was on?

It seems for some the supplements may take longer. I am surprised because it was so miraculous for me in two days I didnt expect others having to go so long. But I guess everyone’s body is different. I really hope it helps and you get better! Im rooting fir everyone. My recipe very has held now since almost 2 weeks from the supplements,

Good news is my CT scan came back clear!!! The ent had me try Nortriptyline 10mg , and unfortunately it didn’t go well, it was raising my blood pressure and heart rate! So he wanted me to stop taking those Wednesday, I had 4 doses , and it was a bad time!!! I have been taking the Quercentin and Lipsomal Gluthanione , I see a slight change , the vertigo isn’t as intense , just feels like I can feel the pulse in my eyes , I had an incredible day yesterday , first time in nearly 7 weeks that I enjoyed the day! But today woke up in a down /Fatigue mode anxiety like feeling!! I’ll take the good with the bad!!! I’ll continue to take the supplements see how I feel!!!  Had a weird episode last night , where my heart rate spiked , woke me up, and I had a buzzing in my ears then went away on its own!! I’ll be 7 weeks Monday, and today is Friday the 11th!!

Hang in there. I'm almost 5 months post Pfizer vaccine and I'm just now starting to feel better thanks to the glutathione, zinc and quercetin regimen and vestibular rehab. You will feel better with time. You'll have good days and bad days. You will start to notice more good days than bad though. Yeah, I took amitriptyline (similar to nortriptyline) the other night. Never again 😀

Thanks ! I’m so glad you are feeling normal! That’s all I want all of us to achieve! God bless

Hi Yoki! I know I sent the info to you but wasnt sure if you took them.  I am sooo super glad youre improving. Are you still on the higher dose of glutathione? Im curious because still so many people are asking me about the supplements and as I posted, I was fully recovered in a few days and didnt need to go as long. FYI to those I said i’d get back to…i tried to get more info from the dr who gave me the original tip to take the supplements but hasnt gotten back to me.

@ninawaters my vision is off and has been off for 8 weeks. I went to the eye doctor to see if maybe my vision has changed but it hasn’t and he said my eyes look great. I’m thinking maybe they are blurred at times because of the dizziness. I feel your pain. Countless tests, no answers.

Hi all.

I thought I'd share my experience after my first dose of Pfizer.

I received my first dose of Pfizer on May 10th. I experienced mild but expected side-effects for the first couple of days (headache and nausea), which subsided by day 3. At this point, I felt completely back to normal.

On day 12 I had a sudden recurrence of the same side-effects. From then on and up until the present (22 days so far), I've been experiencing mild vertigo, motion sickness and headaches, sometimes accompanied by a feeling of pressure in my head or sinuses. This sometimes temporarily abates and returns within a few hours, seemingly randomly. It doesn't seem to get better or worse, and just stays the same, rotating between the above symptoms in various combinations.

Like a lot of people on here, I have better days and worse days. That said, I think I have the symptoms lighter than many of you, as I can still exercise and work and I don't really have brain fog like some.

But this is the first time I've had symptoms like these and have never had any health issues before now. I'm a regular exerciser that puts in around 16 or so miles of running in a week. I've also put in a significant effort for years to make sure my diet is healthy and balanced, so a lot of the nutrients I've read about in this thread in the context of supplementation have already been in abundance in my diet for years, which puts me at a loss as to what to change.

My main concern, however, is now over my second dose. I'm in the UK, which has a 12-week gap between doses, so I have a few weeks yet until I'm due for it. Did anyone on here get the symptoms after their first dose and then still go ahead with the second? If so, how did that then affect your symptoms. I'm a bit lost over whether to go ahead with it or not if I still feel like this when the date comes.

Thanks for reading.

I am hoping someone can relate to my experience thus far.

in January I tested positive for covid 19.

First I felt flu like for a couple of days but was mostly fine. A few days later I started to get awful migraines throbbing in my temples a long with dizziness and brain fog.

I do suffer with bouts of vertigo from time to time normally and have issues with my sinuses.

Fast forward to last Friday- I had my first Pfizer vaccine. Nothing more than an achey arm.

A few days later I started to get the dizziness again and now have developed the throbbing in the right side of my head and seem to be having Positional vertigo and feeling more off balance.

Does this sound familiar. I am currently so upset that I had the vaccine. Had I have known any of this was a possibility to come back I never would have gotten it any have already decided I will not be getting my second dose

Im so glad i can drive again - when I was dizzy I couldnt drive.  Lol so I’ll keep you posted on my VAERs progress!

@flandimonaboatmf I was like you where I could still drive and function on a day to day but felt slightly drunk all the time. I workout all the time as well, and although I can still lift weights and do HITT training I’m having a very hard time running on the treadmill. Did you ever experience that?
As for the second dose, I never got it because my dizziness, headaches and blurred vision never went away. My doctor even told me to not take the second vaccine. He said his wife was experiencing heart issues with her first shot and she never got her second. I personally wouldn’t get the second.

@elallen17 I've not tried a treadmill as I've been running outside. Given that I have a few weeks, I'll see how it goes. I'm probably going to pester the doctor every week and see what their opinion is. I think we find ourselves in the unfortunate position where the doctor's opinion is as much a guess as our own.

I'm assuming our side effects are autoimmune related, and surely there are specialists in this kind of inflammation that have a better idea about the best course of action. Getting in touch with one is another matter, though.

@dizzyfromvaccine Hi, thank you again for sharing the supplement regiment with everyone, it seems to really be helping some people. I had a dip in symptoms after 2 days on the supplements and then regression. But overall, my current baseline of symptoms is lower than what it was previously to taking the supplements (which is great).

my current dosage: 1000mg liposomal glutathion (3X per day, empty stomach), 400mg / 11mg quercetin (2x per day with food)

I plan to double the quercetin. Additionally, I just added SPM active (500mg 2x per day w/ food) based on the recommendation of the pharmacist.

For anyone reading these supplement regiments, and looking for answers in general, please go get every test done that you can to ensure that you don't have something more diagnosable causing your issues. I have done an MRI/MRA, several rounds of bloodwork, a steroid taper from an ENT dr, and been examined by a neurologist/ENT/primary care doctor. I am doing these supplements in addition to vestibular therapy because I ran out of options from the medical community. Wishing everyone a speedy recovery.
