@ladyd

I take half an Ativan for the panic attacks and now in therapy to talk about this.  It’s really hurt all of us.  I was feeling better and then bam it put me back into a dizzy, anxiety place.  I get so scared.

Here's the other issue I'm now worried about. I've taken solace in the probability that as the efficacy of the vaccine starts to wane, so will the side effects, fingers crossed no permanent damage. Here is my dilemma. I'm a healthcare worker, in a hospital (off since March due to unrelenting dizziness). The current trend appears to be that hospital systems across the USA are making it mandatory that their employees take a Covid19 vaccine in order to remain employed. I had no intention of taking any future booster shots for obvious reasons. I'm 63 yrs old and wasn't planning on retiring for another few years. I'm scared of what my future holds. Any suggestions?

I work in health care too but am too unwell to work since vaccine. If it becomes compulsory to have the vaccine then I will leave a job I love and seek work elsewhere. No way am I going to risk  further damage my health and wellbeing by taking another covid vaccine it just isn't worth it to me.

Hi all.

I thought I'd share my experience after my first dose of Pfizer.

I received my first dose of Pfizer on May 10th. I experienced mild but expected side-effects for the first couple of days (headache and nausea), which subsided by day 3. At this point, I felt completely back to normal.

On day 12 I had a sudden recurrence of the same side-effects. From then on and up until the present (22 days so far), I've been experiencing mild vertigo, motion sickness and headaches, sometimes accompanied by a feeling of pressure in my head or sinuses. This sometimes temporarily abates and returns within a few hours, seemingly randomly. It doesn't seem to get better or worse, and just stays the same, rotating between the above symptoms in various combinations.

Like a lot of people on here, I have better days and worse days. That said, I think I have the symptoms lighter than many of you, as I can still exercise and work and I don't really have brain fog like some.

But this is the first time I've had symptoms like these and have never had any health issues before now. I'm a regular exerciser that puts in around 16 or so miles of running in a week. I've also put in a significant effort for years to make sure my diet is healthy and balanced, so a lot of the nutrients I've read about in this thread in the context of supplementation have already been in abundance in my diet for years, which puts me at a loss as to what to change.

My main concern, however, is now over my second dose. I'm in the UK, which has a 12-week gap between doses, so I have a few weeks yet until I'm due for it. Did anyone on here get the symptoms after their first dose and then still go ahead with the second? If so, how did that then affect your symptoms. I'm a bit lost over whether to go ahead with it or not if I still feel like this when the date comes.

Thanks for reading.

Yes I get it totally. So sorry for all your symptoms. I’m so tired and tired of feeling poorly and tired about telling people and docs. This all is just so wrong for healthy people to get these shots and start falling apart. I’ve never had symptoms like I do now and three months of no relief is soooo incredibly depressing. We all need relief sooner rather than later...Sorry wish I could be encouraging. Took a nice long walk tonight with my hubby and now ears ring so loud I can hardly hear and I was walking like I had one too many. I’m so tired now and muscles hurt plus are weak. This is not me!!!! I feel so bad for people who have to live like this and will if I have to too when doing something I thought would protect my health and that of family and friends. A total betrayal if they admit or find out we are all poisoned. Criminal. For what???

Your story it’s exactly like my, it’s been 2 weeks since I started feeling dizzy and sick, it all happen 4 weeks after my first Pfizer dose, the good news my Dr told me it was related to the vaccine, she told me she’s having tons of people with the same symptoms, so I’m waiting to see if this goes away, I been doing Castor oil Packs to detox my liver and stomach, taking vitamins D , 12 , Drinking tons water and  Detox tea. Some days I feel I’m getting better then back to square one. I live in Canada, 47 female in perfect Heath, I usually work out 4/5 times a week, it’s been 3 weeks since my last work out. I don’t think I’ll be getting my second dose.

I too live in CA. Was healthy just like you prior to Pfizer vaccine. Have been dealing with dizziness since March 13th. Tons of test and specialist. ENT for VNG (results all negative) cardio, neuro, all negative. Haven't tried the supplements you've mentioned. What exactly have you been taking and in what amounts?

Here's what I've been taking but please keep in mind that this is what made sense to me and is slightly different from what others may be doing. This is what I did for about 10 days.

Liposomal glutathione - 500 mg 3X a day on an empty stomach

Zinc - 100 mg 1X a day

Quercetin - 1000 mg 3X a day on an empty stomach along with the glutathione

I am tapering off now and taking glutathione and quercetin twice a day now. After a couple of weeks, I'll probably do to once a day doses.

I agree with you about the links...we CANNOT go back!!  We have had the vaccine already...and we are ALL dealing with the stress of our decisions!!  I prefer links that tell us it is an inflammation due to the vaccine and will work its way out of our systems eventually

Some have come here looking for information because they are unsure if they want to risk getting the vaccine at all.  Those links might be worth reading and helpful to those people.

I had the vaccine just over a week ago- a few days after i started developing dizziness and some vertigo and generally feeling off balance.

This is exactly how I felt when I had covid in Janaury, after the same period of time.

I am just so angry with myself for getting the vaccine.

I won't be getting the second dose and have already ordered the supplements and started doing the exercises.

Been given prochlorperazine by the doctor- the help with balance, been taking for 2 days, don't think there's a noticeable difference but will continue taking it.

Hi, how are you getting on with prochlorlerazine? That's what my doctor gave me but I didn't feel too good on it. I've been thinking about trying half the dose. Would be interested to hear how you're getting on.😊

I had the first shot in April. For ten days I had vertigo, headaches, and brain fog. It is now June and just today I am finally not weak. I never got the second one under my doctors orders.

I had my first Pfizer on April 2 and just now, in June, am having my first day of feeling normal. I did not take the second nor will I.

@skazzo Yours might just be inflammatory if you only have vertigo.  If you haven't already, take 800mg ibuprofen, once a day, every day for at least 4-5 days.  Make sure you eat before you do that.  Eat bananas, cut caffeine if you drink too much coffee and try to drink at least 2-3 liters of water every day.  Take some Vitamin C and some anti-histamines just in case it's an allergic reaction.  Avoid inflammatory foods. Look for dizzyfromvaccine if your vertigo doesn't give, he tried a combination of supplements that really helped.

@lesc I would NOT mix and match. Just stick with what you got.  I got the first Pfizer and had the same side effects as you. It's across all platforms and vaccines, no one is better than the other.

Also, people seem to think that the vaccine is supposed to prevent the virus but it doesn't.  You can get COVID even with two vaccinations.  What the vaccine does is prepare your body to respond appropriately, instead of going on overdrive and killing you.  So, again, even with the two vaccines you're vulnerable and can get COVID.

I came across this forum trying to find some sort of explanation of my symptoms  I suspect they are related to the Pfizer Covid vaccine and none of my dr’s has ruled this out. We still can’t find an answer and none of the meds so far are working. It all started 1 week after my 1st Pfizer dose (March 24th) Woke up feeling slightly dizzy and thought I just needed to eat. Dizziness didn’t go away after eating and in fact got worse. Then the headaches started. The headaches move around but mostly on the left side and back of head. Also have sensitivity to sound and pressure in head as well as some weakness and tingling in my legs. Tried nose spray and Sudafed with no change  ENT has done balance testing with no abnormal results. Did 2 rounds of Prednisone with mixed results. I did have an MRI (w/o contrast) and a CT of my sinuses. MRI showed 5 white lesions on my brain. They are not indicative of MS bc their location is scattered. No clear answers as to whether this is related to the vaccine (probably not) or causing my symptoms. I ended up having an ECG w/ bubble study and it turns out I have a PFO (hole btwn upper chambers of my heart)  Not sure if/how this is related to my symptoms but could explain the white matter lesions. Seeing a Cardiologist tomorrow. The closest I’ve gotten to an answer for any of this is from my Neurologist who suspects either breakthrough vestibular migraines (I’ve never had migraines before that I know of) or some kind of meningitis-like reaction to the vaccine. He prescribed Topomax which made me nauseous so I stopped and I just started Nortryptyline. Haven’t noticed any improvement. I’m also on low dose aspirin and B-12. Nothing I’ve tried makes a difference. I may try the supplements mentioned in this thread as it seems to have worked. It’s been almost 11 weeks of dizziness and headaches and I’m feeling desperate with very little relief. As much as I hate to see others suffer it is in a way nice to know I’m not crazy or alone in this.
