Reporting on my 2nd Pfizer following the 6 week+ nightmare after the 1st shot 03/12/21.
I received my second shot 06/12/21. I waited so long because I was not sure I would get the second due to all the health issues the first caused.
15 minutes after the 2nd shot I got extremely dizzy, nauseous and blood pressure up. Received medical monitoring for about an hour. Improved, blood pressure was back to normal but dizzying/vertigo was still present.  Had to get help getting me and my car home as I had not expected that immediate response. In retrospect it makes more sense as my body recognized the second shot as a threat.
I spent pretty much six days mostly in bed because of the dizzy/vertigo feeling. I noticed my anxiety was much less because it was not new to me after the fist vaccination, and planned to just ride it out. 7th day I felt much better.
My vertigo wasn’t as bad, I didn’t experience low blood pressure the first week, I didn’t get the sharp left ear pain, left head or sinus pain/pressure, or left arm wanted to fall off pain I had with the first shot. I got my shot in my right arm, and had a hot large lump for about a week which did not happen with the first shot. I have a history of vertigo but seem to have more frequent short unexpected episodes. The biggest thing that has not cleared since the first vaccination is frequent loud tinnitus in my left ear.
As I mentioned before, meditation and trying to manage the anxiety from feeling bad has been a huge help.

I can't believe it. Doesn't seem much of anything about this can pinned down as normal?

You are not alone... I'm looking at 18 weeks/4+ months and counting here...

Please don't overlook that some of us are long hauling 😟

I am still ill too. I wasn’t overlooking anyone, I was merely sharing information I was given by a pharmacist who has experienced the same as me and some others on this forum to give them some reassuring information and hope.

Unfortunately while we can all support each other in a positive way on here we can easily all bring each other down the same way.

I think I’m done here now though so I wish you all well very soon.

Take care

Yes, there are a number of us soldiering on after quite some time. I'm sorry that any of us are still not recovered.

I know a number here are holding out hope for 12 weeks being a point for cessation of symptoms, but when you're repeatedly hearing that and you pass that point, it gets hard to keep hearing ...and you wonder if your reports of longer term symptoms are heard?

Hope is good, but it also sometimes takes a lot of bravery to face one's reality. Need for support comes in a variety of flavours?

Well wishes for all of us! 👍😏🙏

Hi,

Just as I have said to Rachie and now you, please do NOT let others force their opinions on you...I am glad you are here with us every step of the way, each and every day!!!

We ALL need people such as you to bring us some HOPE...Some folks are just negative and will not change...I ignore them and focus on the positive!...Just like yourself

These are not opinions.

These are some people's realities.

If you find that information to be negative, I don't know what's to be done with you?

I hope everyone has a full recovery ASAP and I hope for that.

But the uncomfortable truth is that none of us have assurance of that being our eventual story. You can try to ignore that for yourself and others, choose to run away from that, and/or from hearing about that here - but the hard truth is that for some time now some of us are dealing with this, learning to cope with it, and may be doing so long term.

Will you make allowance for this?

Would you be ok with this?

Could you be there for those that may have this as their reality?

Countering a few myths surrounding negativity and perpetual positivity:

It’s not negative to ask logical, rational questions or seek out ways to upgrade your current situation.

Being negative or skeptical is not always bad if you use it to better your life and if it serves the purpose of creating positive growth.

Being negative is one thing, being real is another. The difference often lies in how we say it.

Being positive is not automatically good, especially if it’s used as a guise to hide behind and to pretend that nothing is wrong or nothing needs to change.

Ostriches are rarely helpful in crisis.

Being super positive is no better than being super negative.

Positivity can tickle the ears, facing realities can embolden the heart.

We need both polarities to live a well balanced, grounded and authentic life.

16 weeks here and no improvement at all. I can barely walk today. The Epley maneuver that

usually calms my positional vertigo is not working. I had an MRI, visited an EMT and a

neurologist. The EMT said to "Just give it time". Getting impatient.

I never just say "I'm sorry to hear that"; I'm sorry that's what you're going through. If that's what your today is, I am ok with hearing it, I can relate, and we can offer one another support for this. I do hope your tomorrow will be less bad.

It is hard to be told to give it time when you're stumbling in the dark for so long. If you're having no improvement, I'd think that at some point your doctors need to have the reality check of hearing that is so. You don't have to have unlimited patience and just suffer silently without end.

It helps me to come here and find that I'm not totally, abnormally abnormal, that others are struggling still also.

And I become emboldened to continue to advocate for myself.

Please continue to share; I believe that here you are cared for by many! 😔🙏
