@sandram

I had my first dose on Monday and within a few minute I was dizzy and my heart rate was 130 and BP was 147/90. I plan to talk with my Dr. About getting the second one.

Has anyone that has received any of the new Covid Vaccines, did you experience any increased dizziness or other symptoms?

Received my first Pfizer shot on February 25th

Was told to wait 15 minutes after the shot. Minute 13 it hit me like a train. Flush, clammy. Instant feeling of something not right. Within seconds after telling my friends in the waiting room “ I don’t feel good at all “ 2 of them grabbed me and put me to the floor as I lost consciousness.

Came back through, super high blood pressure, racing heart rate, dizzy. 30 minutes to go back to normal.

Couple days afterwards- Right Eye and around it went completely numb and dropped- thought I was having a stroke. Left hand and left foot went tingly and numb off and on. Fainted while relaxing in bed and went to emerg. Extremely low blood pressure, shaking, loss of balance.

Dizziness off and on in waves for weeks, extreme tiredness, not able to focus, extremely slow in responses where people sometimes need to repeat themselves. Vertigo symptoms

Today: March 30th.
Working at my job and out of no where went to reach for something and my legs went weak, extremely dizzy and feeling like I was going to faint again. Constantly feeling like I was in waves. Even sitting down I felt like I was going to collapse. Lasted 45 minutes.

I’m 25, never fainted in my life or had any issues with my health. Always have normal blood pressure and have never been dizzy.

Saw the doc today. Agreed I have vertigo, after a couple of very painful and scary tests. I suggested that it might be an adverse reaction to the Pfizer.  He said unlikely.  He diagnosed it as BPPV. Prescribed Betahistine 24mg twice daily

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is caused by a problem in the inner ear.
Tiny calcium “stones" inside your inner ear canals help you keep your balance.
Normally, when you move a certain way, such as when you stand up or turn your head, these stones move around.

He did agree that the world is involved in a grand experiment and that reactions can be more in real situations involving millions than Pfizer’s test group of thousands. And that at some level we don’t know but we have to treat the problem presented.

@mikes Yes, Iv gotten hot flashes , headaches, vertigo, nausea,and palpitations...  it all started about 1 hour after my 1st Pfizer vaccine on March 8th... My head felt full...had the sore arm the next day... then I began feeling dizzy... thought it was my blood pressure med that was just upped a week before by 12.5 mg... ( hydrochlorothiazide) so I stopped the upped dose ( per Drs orders ) I did the exercises for vertigo... it helped a little, it went away fir a little bit... a couple days.. but I have been tired, no appetite.. and now I’m 3 weeks out and it’s back..got diarrhea and nausea today..not liking the fact that I go fir 2nd vaccine on April 6th... not knowing what to do... reading all of these post is making me even more anxious than I was before... has anyone had these symptoms and still had 2nd shot...??

Just an added thought.  I know that the docs have to stick to the public health line. Better that a few suffer or die than than millions.  So the idea is to not scare people with problems caused by the vaccine. They might decline to take the jab.

but at some level it feels like “gaslighting” when my suggestion and those of others in this group are dismissed out of hand.  As though we are the kooks one runs across on the net.

That’s my rant for today: note I am going along with the conventional medical wisdom to see what it can do for me, whatever possibly caused my vertigo.

@wolfmother

hi. So glad I found people that have had some of the same side effects as me. I got my first Pfizer vaccine on the 4th of March, within 5mins I felt terrible. I came home and was in bed for 2 weeks. I experienced dizziness from the first day and still continue to have this almost 4 weeks later. I have had triggers of SVT in the past and I believe the vaccine was a trigger, I’ve had several bouts since the vaccine. The dizziness is so bad that I almost pass out. Have never experienced anything like this pre vaccine. The docs didn’t really have much of an answer. Really starting to effect everyday life. Definitely will not even consider getting next dose

I received the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine ten days ago.

Two days later, I awoke with vertigo and dizziness. I don't need to describe the feeling. You folks get the picture I'm sure.

I still have moderate dizziness and walk like I'm slightly drunk ( which I'm not !) When I stand up, I do so very carefully.

The dizziness is worse in the morning and fades as the day progresses. I don't have classic vertigo unless I move my head quickly from side to side.

I'm a healthy, active and fit 72 year old man. This is quite disconcerting. I'm giving it a couple of more days before I see a medical professional.

Any advice ?

Thanks
