I took the pfizer vaccine and exactly two and a half weeks after the second dose I woke up with the worst case of vertigo. I've never had vertigo in my life. I went to my Dr. Who diagnosed it as vertigo, sent in a prescription and sent me on my way. Took one meclizine pill and felt even worse, didn't take anymore after that. Fast forward to a week later and I have a uti and an ear infection. Haven't had a uti in about 30 years and I don't think I ever had an ear infection. Fast forward to two weeks later, I think the uti has cleared up but I'm on my second round of a different antibiotic for the ear infection which is feeling only a little better at this point. This really sucks because I did not want to take the vaccine to begin with!!!!! The dizziness is bearable at this point but I just don't feel right, still feel a little off.
Have been having these issues since my second shot in July. I am comforted by the fact that, no I'm not crazy, there is others. I have the whole body and eyes twitching/tremor/shaking, the temple headache, the heart rate palpitations, pins and needles. I have an MRI coming up, I assume they won't find anything, like most here. The closes thing I've seen on here is that the nerve needs to heal in time. Maybe a bad effect we all have. Another possibility is Functional Neurological Disorders, which comes with clean tests but is an issue in the nerve system "programming". It doesn't stay usually forever but recognizing is part of the healing. FND has been associated with the covid-19 vaccines. I've been trying that approach of mind over matter because when I don't think about it, it settles a bit. And that's the healing of FND. Trying what I can. The body is odd, and I can believe that the vaccines creates a short circuit.
Just want to put an update here, been have chest palpations and chest pains dizziness and near fainting spells for 3 months dizziness I can cope with it’s my heart rate and pain which is causing me most grief. Went to see a heart specialist yesterday and he confirmed that’s it’s likely the vaccine has caused my autonomic nervous system to go chaotic. Which is the unconscious nervous system. Looked up on google and it can cause all these problems, he said unfortunately there’s no quick fix just needs time for your body to sort itself out. Just thought I would put this out there as the vaccine may just of kicked off the nervous system and affecting people differently. From the uk by the way.
@cherry101 Nothing specific beyond a diagnosis and reassuring me it will all pass eventually.
I'm nearly four months out from my first dose and I've definitely seen improvement but things are still coming and going in cycles. I'm optimistic that I'll be close to normal by Christmas but I'm trying to take each day as it comes.
@anneornina My eyes have been burning since my first covid 19 injection. Due to have a second on the 10th of Oct. Don't know what to do?
@gingerjones so glad the doctor said this will go away in time even without medication! You will get through this, we will all get through this!
Hello 7.5 weeks after 2 doses of phizer. After 4 weeks of peace, I have a dry cough and chest tightness, and a short breath dizziness... will it ever end ... you go to the doctor and they blame you on stress because such times ... brain fog, muscle pain, no energy ... are there any clinics that help to get up and help with such problems?Scotland UK
@mountainmama saw some of your symptoms are similar to mine. I get random pins and needles in hands and feet. I have a vibration feeling in arms and a slight burning sensation in neck of arm I was injected in. All symptoms I tend to feel mostly middle of the night and morning. During the day is best. Not sure if it’s because I’m moving or what. Seeing doctor today. Has anything helped? Thanks
I haven’t tried Ivermectin yet, the pharmacist has it on hold pending a conversation with my doc. I’m not better yet. 26 days since shot. I’m a former nationally ranked Olympic weightlifter and had no issues prior to the shot.
