I like many of you had an intense reaction to the Pfizier vaccine, developing POTS and other symptoms. After, 6 months I recovered. I also have a recent history of breast cancer and scars in one of my lungs from the treatment. Now 10 months post vaccine and with Omicon and Delta surging, I'm concern about not being protected.

Question: Have any of you on this thread received the booster? If so, which vaccine was it, did you become symptomatic again or not and did you get pretreated with steriods or other meds beforehand to lesson the effects?

Basically, want to hear of anyone's experience in gettin a booster.

Thanks in advance to anyone that is willing to share.

How long has it been since you recovered? Were there any flare-ups after recovery?

Took a good 6 months to recover, I was vaccinated Jan/Feb 2021. By end of August, early September I was completely recovered. I have had no flair ups since. ISince then I have been to an immunilogist who has recommended I don't get the booster. I also have an appointment with a POTS specialist this January to talk through everything.(I was diagnosed with POTS after the vaxx) I more then likely won't be getting the booster, just curious if anyone has and how they did and if they did anything pre-booster to help not to have a similar outcome.

@jacquelynsauriol I’m all for having open discussions, but I personally am getting a bit weary of all the linking to non reputable sources on this site (and even the occasional affiliate link - like really, we are trying to make money off each other here now?).

Joe Rogan is an ex mma fighter who was advocating ivermectin at one point (which has little to no evidence that it does anything, and has also resulted in about 100 overdose deaths). I want answers too, but I think we need science based solutions and not random doctors, media personalities, and naturopaths giving random advice.

Yes Joe Rogan is a fighter. He is also a very good interviewer, and this is how he earned my respect.

I just thought it was immensely useful to understand

re latest treatments. If it doesn't interest you you do not need to see it.

best

jackie

@lmkk I work in a medical office that administers booster doses. The Pfizer booster is the same dosage as the first two vaccines (30 micrograms); the Moderna booster, however, is only half the dose (50 micrograms as opposed to 100.) They wouldn't allow someone who hadn't received their second dose to receive the booster.

I had two doses of the Moderna, and in the beginning, I wondered if I would have better tolerated the Pfizer, which had less of the mRNA (200 micrograms after two doses of the Moderna vs. 60 micrograms after two doses of the Pfizer.) However, after reading all of the reactions on this site, I'm convinced it's the mRNA itself - not the amount in the vaccine - that causes the damage.

I would personally not risk taking a third dose, but as you wrote, there are some people who did and had no further reactions. The entire thing is very, very odd!

Thanks for your response I had a scoot around online but I couldn't find the actual amounts each different dose had.

50micrograms is still alot I didn't realize Pfizer was just 30 I felt like a train wreck afterwards.

I was kind of half hatching a plan of maybe sneaking in and just getting a half dose booster but if moderna is still higher than Pfizer I will definitely give it a miss!

I think you are very right about the mRNA. My sister in law is a nurse and has been administering vaccines. While the other non mRNA jabs have been creating some side effects it does appear that Pfizer seems to generate the most complaints.

I do wish they would hurry up and release the Novavax vaccine in the UK. I've been following the clinical trials in London hospitals and the data looks promising. Very little and only fleeting mild side effects in around 18k volunteers.

They pushed this new mRNA technology out so fast I don't understand what is the hold up with this traditional style Novavax vaccine... probably £££.

Thank you both for your thoughts on this. I too believe it's the mRNA vaccines and hoping the Novavax will be release soon. I think I would chance getting boosted with it.

September to December is a huge feat! Congratulations!🤍 This is where we all wanna reach soon.

Happy for you!🤗

I have read a few posts about booster. You may find it if you use the search bar with the keyword.

Whatever are the comments out here from others, please do not go for a booster. If you get an exemption well and good.

People like us are in danger from both ends. Might as well live our remaining days in good health and peace of mind than getting this crazy substance into our bodies and ruin our life.

The whole intention of getting jabbed was to protect ourselves but, the vax itself put us in danger. Better stay away from this.🥺

Don't take any further jabs people! It's horrifying to know so many of us are on their own. If one gets Covid, there are people to help. Medical staff, family and friends who stand besides you in the difficult hour.

How many of us can say the same thing after being injured from the vax? Did we receive the same help? NO? Some of us were lucky and got the support we needed from everyone but not all.

Our families think we're crazy, friends think you've lost your mind and doctors, wow! They think we manifested all of these from anxiety! FFS we're not crazy! Atleast acknowledge our pain.

Your words are of wisdom. Fortunately, I have several doctors that understand my symptoms was caused by the vaccine and they have indicated it in my medical files. My family and friends understand it too, although sometimes I need to remind them of what happened.

I do wish the medical community as whole would recoginize this is happening, perhaps they do, but don't want it getting out there...

Wishing you much improved health!

Yes! You were one amongst the lucky ones who got the support.

My family has been supportive and too scared for my life too. Friends turned out to be doctors 😅 I didn't see any difference between the doctors I met so far and them.

But internet is a beautiful place and I met people who didn't know me, weren't injured but still had compassion and concern for me.🤍

Hope we all meet you soon at the other end and celebrate our win over this demon! Take care and I pray you remain healthy. I am certain you will soon recover from the other issues as well.🤗

@tennyson77 I am at a loss where you came up with 100 Ivermectin overdoses.  I have seen close to a dozen people fully recover from Covid19 by using Ivermectin without any hospitalization required.  You realize Remdeisvir causes kidney damage and renal failure.  And that is the chosen protocol of the CDC for the hospitals.  You are not on this site for Covid19 side effects, you are here from vaccine side effects.  It is up to 825 pages now.  You call that normal???

@jaydev55 yes it’s resolved. I took so many different things but nothing truly helped. I just had to wait it out unfortunately

  • @thamollusk thank you so much for your positivity 🙏🏻 It really helps! I just went over your previous posts where you talked about how your symptoms flared up when you caught a cold. Same thing happened to me, I recently caught a bad cold and flu and developed tremors in my head that shakes my entire body and keeps me up at night. I did have a head CT scan too and it was clear and yes so grateful for that! And wow that’s crazy it took you 8 months but I’m so glad you got out of it!

@medee and others who are have the hypnic jerks and brain zaps- I had them for about 2-3 weeks during the 2nd or 3rd month after the vaccine. Started with hypnic jerks when trying to fall asleep and then a week later started getting brain zaps. They can be very scary. All of this was at the height of vaccine induced anxiety phase. Thankfully the hypnic jerks and brain zaps went away on their own. I have heard of them in others and that they went away for them as well. Hang in there.

are brain zaps quick and sudden? i have electricity type feeling on the top of my head. it feels like it’s stuff crawling on my scalp sometimes. are those brain zaps?

or are brain zaps more so of a twitch/quivering sensation in your head? i have that also in the back of my head, it feels like muscles or my brain itself is quivering

I have this exact twitch/quivering sensation which I mistook earlier for palpitations. It’s developed recently and it’s makes my whole body vibrate. I also get the crawly sensation sometimes.

@saba I have developed the head jerks as well and I am exactly around 3 months since my second dose. I’m so glad they went away for you, I  really hope it goes away for me too. It’s so scary and freaks me out.
btw my name is also sabah 🙂
