Oh and can you sleep during the day? Some cant I can sometimes.Β
Β
yes I still get the night time hot flashes, but they are much weaker than in the start and they do not take that long. The first 4 weeks after the vacc, the hot flashes were horrible and they lasted the whole night till morning. Btw same with the shivers.Β
And this made sleeping nearly impossible.
Β
But now since 1 week I do not get that bad hot flashes and shivers anymore. I also avoid since 2 weeks histamine food and inflammatory food, and do not eat too late in the day. I think a part of the hot flashes was because I was eating histamine/inflammatory food.
The other part of the hot flashes/shivers is i guess that our nervoussystem and hormon levels (I have hashimoto for example, a thyroid autoimmune disease) is damaged by the vacc or was attacked at night by our immunesystem,
so the body was/is not able to regulate the temperature of the body in a normal way.
Β
Β Apart from the avoiding of histamine/inflammatory food I think the rest are only assumptions I can do.
Β
Have your hot flashea and shivers at least improved a bit?
@medee what do you mean by you canβt breathe? you are shortness of breathe?? So sorry .Β
Anyone here who has checked his/her thrombocyte (blood plate) levels?Β I read somewhere that they could be very high by people who had the vacc.
And people who had severe problem with vacc had an accumulation of the thrombocytes in heart, kidneys and liver
Β
I got my checked, and they are still in the range, but at the higher part of the range.
@watis the hot flashes I still have but not as bad. I sometimes wake up completely drenched in sweat, so nasty. Never had before the vaccine. The shivers arenβt as bad but a couple weeks ago I woke up to my whole body shaking and freezing for a couple minutes. Thankfully I havenβt had another one of those.Β
Anyone try melatoninΒ and MagnesiumΒ for sleep ?Β
Β
OK this is great that your hot flashes and shivers are not as bad as they were!
Else this would be too annoying to get any sleep.

@zacattack99 Hello!
I have had muscle twitches in my left leg/foot, left arm, and right hand on and off since my second dose of Pfizer. The symptoms fluctuate between numbness/tingling and muscle tightness/mild spasming. Sometimes I barely notice it and sometimes I feel it intensely. I haven't noticed any kind of trend or trigger- it seems to just have a mind of its own, coming and going as it pleases, but in overall I think it's slightly improved at this point.
I had an EMG and nerve conduction test at the neurologist's office, and everything was normal. He ordered an MRI to rule out MS, but he doesn't think that's what's going on. I have a feeling it is some of kind of autoimmunity related to covid/the vaccine, and that will go away over time. Please let me know how you're doing!
Β
I take every day Magnesium 500 mg before I go to bed and this helps a lot.
What other supplements you take? And you take once a day?Β What were your symptomsΒ ? How long before they improvedΒ or went away?Β Β
Hope we all get better soon 🙏.Β Β
Hello all, just an update here for anyone who may find it helpful.Β
I saw the neurologist last week, and he diagnosed me with migraine disorder and orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure when standing up). He said that both are hereditary but can be made worse by a virus/infection.
Regarding the numbness/tingling/muscle spasticity in my left arm, left leg/foot, and right hand, he did an EMG and nerve conduction study, all of which was normal. He scheduled my for an MRI to rule out multiple sclerosis, but he doesn't suspect I have it. He also scheduled me for a nerve biopsy in May to confirm multi small fiber neuropathy.
Basically, he said that ALL of these symptoms can be caused by Covid/the vaccine, or other viruses and infections. The Neuro tech said that he thinks having covid and then the vaccine on top of that is causing neurological issues for people who are genetically susceptible for whatever reason.Β
For anyone who is getting dizzy when standing up after covid or the vaccine- put electrolytes in your water and hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Especially if you notice blanching in your hands and feet as well- this was how the Neuro diagnosed me with orthostatic hypotension, and the advice he gave me to help alleviate it.Β
He also said take excedrin migraine for the headaches.
I'll update this thread after the MRI and nerve biopsy. Hope everyone on here feels better soon!

What is the best course of action to take ...what supplements forΒ
Β Insomnia, nerve pain , palpitations, fast heart rateΒ Β GI issues ,back pain ,,some joint pain,Β blurred vision, creaky bones,( some times), tingling in various parts of body. ,numbness.Β As well ,intermittent ear pain. I think that's it ? Might have missed . Those are main ones and for now 2 monthsΒ post vax they are still somewhat mild.Β Β
IntermittentΒ fasting , diet , H1 ,H2Β regimen?Β
500 Mg Magnesium shortly before sleep (only one time the day)
400mg Vitamin C, (sometimes 800 mg Vitamin C)Β Β every day
600mg NACΒ every day
30g ZinkΒ Β every day
800IE Vitamin DΒ Β every dayΒ Β (my Vitamin D level is crap, but I can not take the higher IE's, because I feel bad when I take them. Sun is best, if you have Sun available)
With strong sun you can easily get >5000IE
a lot of Water and anti-inflammatory food
sometimes 400 mg ibuprofen when I have headache.
Β
I think I still also need some B12, maybe I will go and buy tomorrow some B12 supplement.
Β
my symptoms were Insomnia, loss of appetite, migraine like headache, pressure/pain on both temples, somehow my whole head was under pressure, chestpains near heart and also on the right side, very bad heart palpitations, Hot flashes at night and shivers at night, felling most of day feverish and hot but wihtou having fever, low level eneregy, weight loss, muscle trembles, a generall very unwell feeling,
nausea, brainfog, anxiety, restlnessness, and maybe some other more.
Β
Too many horrible symptoms. This is really beyond sanity.
Β
Improved after 3-4 weeks are insomnia, chestpain is far less now, (but now I have breathingproblems), lesser hot flashes & shivers, headaches and pressure/pain on temples have lessened,
and also heart palpitations are far less and at not that high rate.
Β
But all in all I am still in great fear, that some of this symptoms come back or will get worse. So I really think from day to day and then I check what the symptoms I have and which one not.
Β
I really think avoiding histamin and inflammatory food and not eating too late in the day brought the biggest improvements!
Did you have any negative side effects from the st. John's Wort? I don't take any other medications besides vitamins and supplements. I did notice early on that my symptoms from the vaccine did seem worse during my time of the month, but haven't noticed that in recent months, there's really no rhyme or reason as to my good days and bad days.Β
I've had many symptoms, but the major (and most persistent) ones are: being constantly lightheaded (on-a-boat feeling), and head pressure specifically on my left side and behind my left eye. Previous symptoms include random burning sensations, tingling/vibration feeling in head, numb/tingly on my left side. Those don't seem as bad these days. I'm also currently having neck/thyroid issue that may or may not be related to all of this. Hopefully I'll have more answers on that after my neck CT scan this week.Β I've tried lots of suggestions from here over the past year, not much has helped except for recently the extra dose of vitamin C and D, in addition to a multivitamin, may be helping a bit.Β
I felt about 80-90% back to normal about 5 months post vaccine, but then I got covid in october and it was like starting from square 1. Now it's about 5 months since then, so maybe 5 months is the turning point for me. Sending healing vibes to everyone!Β
Hello @gm1988 I have not noticed any side effects from the St. Johns Wort. However, my husband has taken it and he says he cant take it after 5 pm or he has a tough time falling asleep. I have not had that happen to me and I take it after dinner (8pm).Β
@watis I've had mine checked twice (5/24/21 and 2/15/22) and my platelets were normal.
