Just received my lab results and I tested positive for ANA. I understand this test is non-specific but I believe it indicates I have something autoimmune going on. This seems to be the only test/study where I have seen several of us test positive. I have an appt with a rheumatologist on Monday. If anyone has any insight on this or any questions I should be asking at the appointment, please let me know. I will keep you posted. Always hopeful.....

Hi everyone

I’m 3 months past second Pfizer and I’m having tremors that can wake me up in the night. Not as bad as they used to be straight after my second shot but quite annoying/concerning nonetheless. It seems to come and go. It’s almost cylindrical. Goes away and comes back but not as bad as before. But the last few times have been pretty much the same.

Reading this thread it seems like a few people have had something similar. How did you guys sort yourselves out?

Hi Davo - I am about 8 months post Pfizer dose #2.  I just started getting tremors at night for the last 1.5 weeks when sleeping.  My back, and glutes shake quickly/rhythmically Over and over. Usually it feels internal, sometimes it shakes the bed. If I am on my back it is the worst. Changing positions helps some…but it’s frightening when my whole body (shoulders to lower bum) are shaking.  Can you describe what your tremors are like? Anything helping?

I am pretty much over all my other symptoms, but the only thing left lingering is head and eye pain. Does anyone have lingering head pain?If this head pain would go away I would be 100%.

Hi, is it more of a head/eye pressure or scalp pain? Im 6.5 months post vaccine and still get occasional head/eye pressure along with scalp pain. It’s much milder than it was though.

Hi Sara. How is your head pain? I’m now 6 months out and still have the head and odd eye pain. The intensity hasn’t changed, but it seems to come on slightly less often. Booked in for a CT at the end of March as a precaution.

Hi Andy,

My head pains are actually very mild now, some days they are completely gone. The head pains started getting better at 7-8 months. I had an MRI two weeks ago and I'm currently waiting on results. I'm 9 months post first vaccine and doing so much better. I'll post an update on here as soon as I get my reports.

Hi Andy and Sara,

My headaches/head pains have subsided quite a bit in the last few weeks. Today I haven't had any head pain(knock on wood). This is my 7th month, so hopefully with time I will be back to 100%

The funny thing is I was fine 2 months post vaccine and then all the headaches started to occur. I was going through some stress in August, then all they symptoms came on. Went for a CT and MRI, nothing was there. Could be nothing else but the vaccine. I will keep you all posted. I might set up an appointment with my neurologist just to make sure.

@j hey mate

mine are in the same spots as yours it seems. Feels like back and glutes (but I’m not exactly sure as I’m pretty tired/dopey when it’s happening). But I know my hands have been feeling it too.

I woke up feeling my hands pulsing a million times a second and thought my heart rate must be 200, checked my fit bit and it was 60 so it to just be a tremor.

there’s nothing I’ve done to ease them. They’ve just got to a point where they’re not quite as annoying as they used to be. It sucks but i get the feeling I’ll be stuck with it forever. I’ve been to the doctors though and they’ve cleared me of any heart or neurological issues so I’m at a loss as to the cause.

Guys once again my qeustion?

Can I take an SSRi antidepressiva with my barin inflammation. Did anyone of you give it a try?

Other question is, did anyone of you did the test to verify if you have indeed a brain inflammation. I think the main test is getting brainwater out of you back, which is also a dangerous  and very unpleasantmethod.

Or are there even blood tests who can tell if your brain is inflammed?

I have panic that my symptoms come back far worse.

PLease anyone there who has a clue about this matters, help me with answers or maybe an advice.

Thanks!

@heybro

I have your message, but unfortunately it says I’ve not posted enough to be able to private message, so cannot reply. I hope things have improved for you? I’m three months post-second vax and I’m not better yet, still have stabbing pains on side of stomach. I’m gutted I had the second vax as these pains disappeared after my first vaccine, only to return after the second.

Is anyone here in the forum taking SSRI antidepressiva?  And does it help you?

Or are the sideeffects together with the other sideeffects to hard to get along for a longer time.

Because I am considering to take SSRI Antidepressiva beginning with tomorrow.

Please anyone give me some feedback, if you have taken or do take SSRI antidepressiva or other antidepressiva. And how were your experieneces?

Many Thanks!

  1. @tone   Hello! Magnesium glycinate has helped me sleep a tad better now. I am gradually weaning off sleeping/anxiety pills. To my surprise, I also got negative results for ANA today and though one can't say there's no autoimmune issue running, I feel less anxiety now. Since I live in the East (Korea) my wife took me to an Oriental Medicine doc and am now taking a sort of concoction made of good- lord-knows-what (besides antlers powder). This too helped me distract from my...aching body - and mind. I trust you'll find time progressively healing your symptoms. That's the modicum of solace I'm telling myself with every passing hour, day, week and piled month.

Hi Trev,

Thank you for keeping us updated with your progress! It's a good sign that the pains have subsided. I pray we all get back to our normal selves soon!
