5 years into my dizziness journey, my new Doctor requested an MRI. it was largely normal other than a "Partially empty sella" and "Tiny mastoid effusions especially on left." I understand the medical community, and my Doctor, consider mastoid effusions a "a common incidental finding." Curiously, my left ear and side of my face has given me the most issue since the new year began (ear feels full, crackles, pain behind left eye, tension-like headaches almost daily).

Where this fits into the overall big picture I'm unsure (my vertigo spells [literal room spins] have increased in frequency over the past 2 years). I've been diagnosed with right labyrinth dysfunction, but Meniere's, Vestibular Migraine, BPPV, cervical spine components, head shaking, and vertebrobasilar insufficiency have been ruled out.

Has one had any experience with Mastoid Effusions or Partially Empty Sellas coming up as a point of discussion, in your dizziness/vertigo journey?
