@sandrasp I do have a low frequency sound in my ears now. It’s from the VACCINE. Β  Check this out: https://www.abc15.com/news/local-news/investigations/ua-professor-examines-possible-link-between-covid-19-vaccine-and-tinnitus

@cc11111 do you mind sharing your experience from when you got the vaccine till now? Did certain things get worse get better go away? What were your initial symptoms?

Interesting reading everyone's stories. I wonder if low tolerance to medication could partly explain it. I'm able to take most medicines but aspirin etc doesn't agree with me. I had been improving (except for headache, balance issues) but last night tremors and spasms are back. Still I'm encouraged that I had a few better days - it is promising. 7 weeks since first pfizer. Does anyone think novavax might be a better option for us?

@sandrasp Yes, I still do, but much less now. I'm just past 9 weeks. Many of my other symptoms remain, but wanted to give you hope that the shooting pains might fade and disappear in time!Β

I also wanted to add that I would consider myself highly sensitive--to medications, certain foods, materials, environments, etc. For instance, when I first went on birth control, I got incredibly bad complex migraines that always resulted in a hospital visit for morphine or something similar. Thankfully, going off birth control helped manage those migraines (although I still get them infrequently), but just more evidence that my body is sensitive to medication. Wondering like many of you if this sensitivity is a shared link among some or even most of us.Β

@twitch Hi I got Moderna the 28th of May and second Moderna the 28th of June. My pins and needles started 12 days after the first Moderna followed my leg painΒ  foot pain andΒ  leg numbness sensation I still had feeling but felt numb. I had a burning on the side of my head and like someone was tapping my head it was weird that's gone now , eye twitching , left calf went into over drive with twitching that was awful its not so bad now . My leg has really improved no numb feeling and my shin was like a tight band was around it thats gone also . I still have slight pins and needles in left foot but much better. All MRI's for brain neck spine and lower back were fine . Just a bulging disc and wear and tear. I do think all of our symptoms will wear off in time

@cc11111 what’s left as far as symptoms? Is your tinnitus gone? Eye twitch?Β

@beeaydee I am very similar with medication sensitivities. It was something that concerned me before getting the 1st dose. Maybe it was too much for us. I do hope it’s affects will work it’s way out eventually.Β

I am glad to have found this forum. I got the Moderna vaccine series end of March and end of April. Within the first 24 hours of the second vaccine I started experiencing a burning sensation in my left ear canal (same side of body I got the shot) and then noticed a spread of numbness/tingling over my scalp, down my forehead, over my eyelids, and tip of my nose. It also went across my upper back. The sensation seemed to go away after about 5 days. Since then the sensations come and go and also involve the back of my throat on occasion. I have also started having a feeling of pressure in my head at the top of my head and at the back of my skull. Tinnitus has also started (at least that I am consciously aware of) in the last 3 weeks. The pressure and tinnitus aren't going away but do vary in intensity. I saw my GP, went to the ER multiple times for intense symptoms. I had bloodwork done and all was normal. I had a head MRI. Also normal. I have an appt. with a neurologist in about a month. I do notice that when I am feeling stressed or start to get anxious that the symptoms intensify.Β  When I mention I think it could be vaccine related people tell me it's unlikely and that I probably have something else going on or it's all anxiety/stress. I didn't have these troubles before I had the vaccine. Any advice from anyone on this site? It sounds like there are a lot of people with somewhat overlapping symptoms to what I am experiencing.Β  I was thinking of trying some supplements because I figure it can't hurt.... Ibuprofen does help a little. Thanks in advance!

I have numbness all over that started in both big toes 9 days after my 2nd Moderna. Now the numbness is basically in very part of my body. It spread up my legs and also into my fingers, arms, underarm, up my neck and even my face and scalp. I also had the muscle twitches, leg buzzing and a bunch of other unpleasantness. The numbness has not let up for 5 months and just seems to be permanent.

@biancax08 Hi Bianca, That's exactly what I have experienced!! It started five months ago and 9 days after my 2nd Moderna shot. I first experienced numbness in my toes and now it is all over my body. It really sucks. Love to stay in touch to see how it is going for you. Nothing really resolved as of yet except for reduced muscle twitching and I'm sleeping a bit better.

@grissyr much better. Intense burning pain lasted a week. On sunday I woke up as if nothing had happened. I only have some sensation of wetness in one foot. MRI is clean 😀

I got first pfizer shot almost a week ago and it hit me like a bus. After 3 days my thumb on the right arm (I got shot in left arm) started getting numb and I got tingling sensations. Just like I would hit it really hard. Today my arm started to hurt too, looks like it's spreading up. Anyone experienced similar effects? What did you do?Β
