@svetlana Many of us are experiencing the same symptoms. If it's any consolation mine have improved after 8 weeks post pfizer. I still get the odd tingling and weird arm and leg sensations but much less often. Hopefully your symptoms calm down soon.

@lynsey I had it affecting my eyes too! Had an eye test to rule out glaucoma etc and all is ok. It causes stabbing pain in and around mainly the right eye but also the left and my tongue as well as pins and needles throughout my body.

This isn’t specific to the vaccine. (Unvaccinated) I contracted covid within the last month. 10 days post losing my taste/smell I have tingling/numbness in my arms/hands/feet/legs along with chest pain. Sounds very similar to what majority are experiencing post vaccine. :/

Hi everyone.

I am so glad I found this group. I thought I was the only one with these symptoms, as these paraesthesia/ peripheral neuropathy type reactions are not reported anywhere.

I started having transient, mirgratory, paraesthesia signs (pins needles/ warm cold sensations and vibrations) 16 days after first pfizer vaccine. I got the signs initially in my left hand, and had my first vac in my left arm, not sure if coincidence or not. I did get my second vac, there was not change in my symptoms. It is now 1 month after they have started.

Initially, I was so scared that I had a stroke, MS, guillian barre, or a paraneoplastic syndrome.

MRI blood tests were fine and the neurologist thought that a post covid vac reaction was possible but wasnt sure.

The severity and location of the paraesthesia is different every day, i have no weakness, and only very mild transient numbness. All of our symptoms sound very similiar. Are people finding their symptoms are generally resolving after a period of time, if so how long?

Best regards

Tess

@jpgdubgmail-com Jean may I ask what nerve med you were prescribed? I've experienced continuous tingling/itching around my mouth ever since I received the moderna vaccine. My doctor prescribed Lyrica which has helped but I'm worried this will be a chronic condition.

@mickie I'm too scared to at the moment. I can't go through this again and what if the reaction is even worse? Right now I'm hoping a safer vax or a miracle cure happens. I figure I have until about January before I have to make a call but so far it seems way too risky. What's the point in having a vaccine permit if I'm too sick to go anywhere anyway?

@eileenwh  I'm scared as well too. My tingling and leg pain has mostly stopped by now. I had an emg that came back abnormal. My neurologist mentioned pinched nerves gave gave me lumbar mri. Still waiting on the results of that. I was supposed to take my second dose on the 21st but decided to wait. I might get my second dose this Sunday or Saturday..

@eileenwh What were your other symptoms? What do you think helped you? It sounds like you are almost completely recovered?

I've had all the symptoms mentioned, started with numb arms and legs, pain in left calf and itchy skin, very worrying as it just started one night during my sleep around 6 days after my 2nd jab. This went on for months. I had blood tests but all normal. For the last couple of months my feet have been on fire so much so I had to put them in bowls of cool water most nights.  I am now 6 months in from having my 2nd AZ vaccine which I believe started all of this and I glad to say my symptoms have almost gone. I still have very slight tingling in my left foot but that's all, im so relieved so hang on in there, hopefully it will ease it just takes time. I'm not an anti vaxer but I won't be having my booster, for now anyway.

@jessclaire So do you think you are almost recovered? What symptoms went away for you and which ones are you still having? After how many months did they go away?
