Second Update.
Over 24 hours now since second dose.

Nothing has changed, woke up with a headache and sore arm but that was to be expected.

I think the next 3-5 days are going to be key as thats when this started with the first dose.
Ill update everyone again later this coming week.

Cheers

@hailey me! The pain intensity send random.  It seems like I get the pricks from the neck down, but I think I mainly get them in my thighs.  I still get tingling mainly in my lips, but it sometimes goes to my face and head.

Have you been told anything of value? I have been told it's Fibromyalgia????? So weird as I have never had any of this prior to injection. I'm always so scared

Hi I’m ever great full  that I’ve found this forum! I felt like I was alone. I am a 29 yr old who I thought was perfectly healthy, I had my Pfizer vaccine in May and the end of the week I was experiencing everything everyone is talking about sever tingling burning pins and needles pain in arms, hands etc. then started affecting my sleep, which I started acupuncture for. I’ve been pushed to take meds etc, and feel like no one is taking my seriously. I have a nerve test which they said was clear and mri on neck and shoulders which show bulging discs which are NOT compressing nerves . After being confused my doctors and led to believe having the second one would be safe I have done so. Prior to that it was finally getting better after months, now I’m not too sure if the vaccine triggered it to get worse again. But doctors have suggested it’s an issue with my muscles being too tight that’s causing the tingling which is now in my hands and feet and sometimes bottom of my back.

sorry about the long essay but it had taken over my year and my life. Waiting for a referral for physio. Has anyone had anything similar, that has resolved or had it as long as I have? Anyone been told anything similar? I just need some hope. Anyone found something that helps? My doctors are very unhelpful and very difficult to even get a phone call, no face to face here at the moment :/

They lie. They don't know shit! We are on our own. I did have tingling and pins and needles and a lot of us did. If this might help look for words with the keyword and you will find people having similar experience. It does get better and then relapses.

I cannot give you hope that I hace recovered as I am still suffering from all of this. But there are people who felt better, few who claimed to recover around 80%-90%

How are you feeling these days? Has it gotten better for you?

Do use QUOTE option  when you reply. Take care!

Hi Dee,

Thank you for the response, although i wish you were getting better, I am glad I'm not alone in this! Currently not feeling great, having a lot of nerve pain last few days, but i have tried to keep stretching and using heat to ease some of the symptom's. Like i mentioned before it took over  almost over 5/6 months to decrease significantly.. and that was a tough road. Now i feel like i'm starting all over again since the second vaccine. Really hoping for some rest bite soon and i hope you feel better soon 🙂

Keep me in your prayers! I did a mistake of visiting a neurologist and taking the tablet prescribed. Since then I have developed palpitations.

I only had slight chest pain post the vax which I guess had faded away. But post that one tablet things have become tough for me.

Do pray for me!🥺

I had had a numb left face / ear a few months ago for 2 weeks from Pfizer starting 2 weeks after the first shot.  Got J&J the next time around a little over 2 weeks ago, and just fine so far! Glad it seems to be working out a lot better. Good luck to all!

@tinglyin2021 I’d highly recommend making an appointment. I had to pressure my doctor for the echo because she insisted my symptoms were a product of anxiety. Turns out the heart problems are part of the pericarditis so I feel like everyone should get checked out.

I had 4 different heart tests and they all came back clean.  I want to make a dr appointment but they wouldn't be able to get me in for another 2 months.  My heart problems actually went away after changing my allergy medicine

No I haven't been tested for anything either.  I know I should, but everyone here who's been tested didn't learn anything of value.  My instinct keeps telling me it herpes related, but I think I'd prefer if it were fibromyalgia.

Try taking a vitamin B complex, it seems to help me a lot

I wanted to update that today is Tuesday (got Janssen vaccine Friday). Pins and needle sensation did not go away as I was hoping when I woke up this morning. Instead they’re worse. I went to urgent care who told me to go back to the ER. They did blood tests and a CT scan which came back normal. Waiting to talk to the doctor. I feel like the vaccine messed up my body. Any advice what to ask doctor?

I started tingling 3 days after my J&J vaccine. That was 2 weeks ago.  My tingling has moved and changed over the 2 weeks. But on occasion I feel a tingling in my back that actually follows a nerve and it seems to actually come from my spine across my left back to my side. I have periods of just a low hum and I feel almost normal,  like it's going away.  I went to my neurologist a week ago,  but he didn't feel tests were necessary yet. Have you made any improvements? What did your tests show? At the beginning it would bother me during the day and ease off in the evenings.  The past few days it's better during the day and I start buzzing in the evenings. Any changes that you have noticed would be helpful,  and what did your tests reveal if anything? Thanks so much.

@raggedyann hi there, just reaching out to see how you’ve been managing your symptoms. I had headaches/migraines for two weeks, they started two weeks after my Pfizer shot. I was diagnosed with low iron and have had an infusion, everything seems to be worse now. Headaches returned and I have a tingling feeling in my arms and legs. How have you been managing? Just looking for any advice you have. Thank you, hope you’re feeling better.

@floryeo Sorry, I didn't see your question until now. It depends on which symptoms. What is left are the numbness in my feet and legs and somewhat in my fingers and arms. What is mostly gone are the insomnia, anxiety, tremors, tingling, electric current in my legs, burning skin and other pleasantries. This all started lifting at about the 6 month mark.

Got my second Moderna shot begining of March 2021 by April I was getting intermittant numbness in random fingers and hands for months. I finally went to emergency as it spread to my face and body. My eyesite would randomly go double vision at times. I thought I was having a stroke. They did a EKG and some other tests that came up negative. My symtoms remained for another 2/3 months after those tests. For some reason my appetite was reduced and I lost 20 pounds during this time. Within the last month the numbness has pretty much gone away. I feel the vacine is finally working it's way out of my system. Thank god!! I am most likely not getting a booster. I hope this helps people that are just starting this messe up journey!!

Has anyone had the pins and needles come back after getting Covid? It took 6 months to completely get rid of them after my Pfizer jab. I got a very mild case of Covid a month ago and have noticed the pins and needles rearing their ugly head over the past couple weeks. I just hope it doesn’t get as bad as after the jab and hope I can get rid of them again.

SOOOOO thankful I have found this site! Received second Phizer shot the first of Feb. 2021, three weeks afterwards I felt my lips and face suddenly go numb, I was terrified I was having a stroke. For several weeks after there would be a numb/tingling sensation that would periodically crawl across my head, then at times it would just be my face. During this lip and face numbness my cheeks would break out in red blotches that sometimes had small breaking out places. Before falling asleep my fingers, legs, body would jerk me awake. When I finally was able to get to sleep I would have a pain at the back of my head that radiated from the base of my neck and cause me to wake back up. Brain fog, no energy, tingling and numbness in lips, face, neck, eye twitching periodically, pain shooting through my feet, body jerking while going to sleep, pain in neck and head especially at night when I lay down all of this has continued. It will completely go away for a week maybe more, and out of no where come right back starting with my face and lips tingling and going numb. This latest go round I have had my head beginning to twitch somewhat which is scaring me too death. I have went to primary doctor that sent me to a dermatologist that sent me to an allergist...nothing. Reading the symptoms all these months I have been worried I may have MS or God knows what else starting. These things were NOT happening whatsoever prior to my second covid shot. Just wanted to have my symptoms noted here like everyone. I am worried this isn't going to go away after having it repeatedly stop and start since the first of this year.

On page 38 someone said there symptoms subsided, then came back worse after catching covid

@hastings56 Your symptoms sound like many on here. How frustrating that they have been going on for  so long. Have you tried magnesium for the night twitches and jerks? Lots of people say that it has helped. If it's any reassurance we have all thought we had MS but we dont.
