I was diagnosed with Benign Positional Vertigo about 20 years ago and have migraines along with them sometimes optical.  I have found that these problems get worse with vaccinations ie pneumonia and flu.  I also did find out another big trigger is usually lights especially flourescent and others in restaurants.   I used to get epley maneuver but it pulled out my neck so I won't try that anymore.  I did take meclizine periodically.   Fortunately, since covid and staying in, I have almost been vertigo and migraine free.  So am trying to decide about the Pfizer vaccine.  I want this one as I heard this one has the least amount of side effects.   It is also less of a dose than J&J as only 1/2 does compared to full dose.   I noticed that some people on here are having vertigo from the vaccine and was just wondering if any of it has subsided by now.  The problem I had before with the other vaccines was that it lasted for years.

Hello! Just saw your post. I was wondering if you got the Pfizer shots?

I never had vertigo until several weeks after the 2nd shot last year. I have now had it for over 6 months constantly. Only those who have it know how debilitating it is.

I also got inflammation in my stomach and esophagus so bad that I am having trouble eating and have been throwing up recently.

I hope you either didn't take the vaccine or haven't had any bad reactions!

@anoi Very sorry to hear about your terrible struggles. I hope you avoided the second shot.

i had a similar experience to yours a few weeks after the second shot. I have constant vertigo and feel extremely unsteady as well, walking sideways and afraid of falling. I used to be active and healthy and have now been housebound for over 6 months. Vertigo still ongoing despite VT, which I discontinued due to other health issues.

How r u now?

@barb-larue7gmail-com   Barb,  Not feeling so well now.  Finally got less than 1% of Pfizer vaccine from allergist and I had many side effects.  This was last July and still seeing drs. and getting lots of tests done.  So I am not having the full vaccine.  Most people I know had no reaction but I have had so many reactions before from others so that is why I am glad I just got a small amount to see how it would affect me.  Still trying to report to VAERS system pgreen  PS Hope you feel better soon.  And thanks for your input.

@pgreen  how r u doing? My vertigo is still, there but now I have severe balance issues and headaches daily. If I crouch down I fall over. I can't do simple tasks.

Neurological symptoms suck!!

I am always hoping. To hear recovery stories to give me hope.
