Hi Saba, is there a facebook link for vision issues or WhatsApp chat group. I would like to join for mental support.
@floryeo I am sorry I am not aware of a FB group specific for eye issues from vax. The facebook groups I shared are for tinnitus and ear issues but I have seen a lot of other issues shared and eye issues is reported and shared a lot. Well, one of that FB group was taken down by FB. There are some subs on reddit r/covidvaccinated or r/covidlonghaulers or r/vaccinelonghaulers. I am suffering from the floaters as well and more than anything it is mentally tormenting. So I can relate to you. Hope we all recover from this sooner or later.
Hi Saba, is there a WhatsApp group for eye issue? I would like to join.
@florayeo, I am sorry I am not aware of any whatsapp group for eye issues from vaccine. The tinnitus FB is up and running again and I have seen posts there about vision issues. Have you tried joining that group? https://www.facebook.com/groups/265035901879921
Hi Saba, do u know Seema? She has already include me in a chatgroup via telegram.
I had my first dose in August 2021 and second in October 2021 and still have the eye floaters that developed in my vision in the week following the initial vaccination. The blurred vision has improved but the floaters are still present. I don’t know whether they have improved a little or whether I’m just so used to them now that I’m learning how to not notice them, but either way they are a massive pain and something that I hope in time begin to fully disappear/improve. It annoyed me that no one here in Australia took me seriously when I said it happened from the Pfizer vaccine - even the people at the eye hospital thought I was just connecting the dots to the vaccine when there was no proof that this was the cause. However, I know for a fact the vaccine causes my eye issues BUT I’m still pro vaccination and will be getting my booster shot this month. I would rather deal with annoying eye floaters than risk getting a bad case of Covid and/or passing it on to my loved ones. But I do think it’s time people start listening to those of us who know for sure that the vaccine caused our eye issues.
@floryeo no, it’s been over two months now. They’ve done so many tests and medication and nothings helped. My eyes are in so much pain, and my vision is impaired. Seeing another specialist in two weeks 🙏🙏🙏 how are you?
My eyes were in so much pain and tender for a good two months. The pain has settled but I'm having lots of visual disturbances. I hope the specialist can give you some answers I'm still waiting to see someone. My regular eye checks revealed nothing of concern.
Did you take any eye drops for the pain to go away?
I don't take anything for my eyes as the GP didn't prescribe anything.

Moderna are now listing eye issues as a side effect of their jabs.
I am in week six after taking the Moderna booster. My vision was a bit weird before I took it with some unexplained twitching in my left eye, but now I think it might have been from the first shot with Pfizer.
Anyways, my left eye slowly started to get a little fuzzy (also, dry, irritated), but I thought it was from the eye twitching. While that twitching stopped, I have a host of other nerve/ muscle issues and my right eye is a little fuzzy and off too. I’m scheduling an office visit next week.
For anyone who is suffering with visual snow/static this article is from today's news.
Hi Everybody. I am glad to find this site as all of you pretty much got the same response which leaves you to wonder if you have an over active imagination. Unfortunately, I do have an eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. My gene is slow progression. However, after receiving the Pfizer vaccine April 8th 2021, that very evening I noticed visual changes. I noted again in my diary on the 27th that “somethings going on with my vision.” In May more of the same by June 9th I started my journey down the abyss of extreme anxiety. I had never seen an eye doctor since my diagnoses. I couldn’t get in to see an ophthalmologist until August 20. I was pretty much watching my vision disappear. Every time I saw more vision loss, I’d down an anti anxiety drug and fall asleep. I lost 40 pounds. It went really fast. I know this all started happening the evening of the day I got the vaccine. Of course, no doctor can attribute this rapid loss to the vaccine. I’ve had my eyes looked at now numerous times. It’s so frustrating as you feel you are the only one this has happened to. There’s no where to turn. I feel the difference between you people and me is I have a pre existing condition. My vision loss is never coming back. I believe all of you will see improvements until you’re back to normal. The floaters must be part of the vaccine it seems as so many of you complained about them. I had such a rush of them a couple weeks past being vaccinated. Probably like the majority of you, I was looking forward to the vaccine as the stress of this dreadful, vile virus was causing stress. Well now I am too terrified to get a second dose let alone a third without knowing what caused my vision to take a nose dive. So, the stress is really high. Like all of you, I just want my life back. It would be so appreciated to get validation rather than hear “coincidence or causal?” “ there’s no data on vision loss.” In my case “ you just didn’t notice you were losing vision before the vaccine.” Blah, blah blah. I can no longer drive. My tap classes are no more which I have taken for most of my life. Sun light hurts my eyes, I have the window treatments all closed. I’m not sure if we will ever learn the extent of this side effect or why it happened. I also have had dizzy spells where I have to grab something to steady me. This has all been a nightmare.
I find it wild how many of the threads on here are about vaccine related vertigo or vision problems. like it's just so obvious that this is a long term issue that is extremely common from the vaccine, how is this not being acknowledged? we basically have a form of long covid from this shot. but it's only real if you get it from the virus...
some of us have no reaction to covid but get extremely, extremely sick from this vaccine. why is that not recognized? I'm getting extremely frustrated.
I have an inability of the eyes to focus together, the feeling of things moving when i look at them, and increased perception of floaters (i did have some floaters before, but wasnt bothered by them because my eyes were working properly together). my glasses prescription also feels all wrong, like it changed overnight.
@someone I am very sorry you're having vision problems.
I agree with all you've said. We are dismissed when we complain we've suffered severely with symptoms that often mimic long covid. Most people do not want to acknowledge it.
I did find a functional/naturopathic doctor who doesn't dismiss it. He doesn't talk too much about it, but his office people tell me He treats lots of vaccine injured.
Might be helpful if you can find an open -minded doctor.
Wishing you a full recovery asap. Please keep us updated.
Just an update on my vision at the end of week 9:
After my eye doctor only recommended regular eye drops 4x times a day for two weeks, I didn’t have much hope. I did this semi regularly, but after a few weeks now, my eyes are becoming less fuzzy more days. This helps not only my vision, but my anxiety. I don’t really chalk it up to the drops, but more so the time.
Hi there, I’m a 35 year old male experiencing many eye issues after 2 doses of Pfizer vaccine…
I’ve had visual issues in the past prior to Covid, mostly with night vision but also visual snow and floaters, etc. However, doctors could never figure of my night vision issues, as I only have a small prescription and healthy eyes
I should start by saying late January of 2021, my eye doctor thought I had COVID pink eye. I did not have Covid as I was pcr tested so her next thought, adenovirus. It did leave some scarring on my eyes but nothing major
After my first shot, 4/9/21, 3 days after I started to experience very bad rings around lights at night and starbursts…also a hazy, messy glow around lights.
My eye doctor assured it was delayed from my previous eye infection however I knew it was from the vaccine….it was 2 months after! And then boom 3 days after my first shot. So, like most here I was depressed and looking for answers….I had everything, bloodwork, 2 mris, you name it, all came back normal
A few months passed and to be honest, my eyes adjusted. They weren’t like they were before but they got better!
Was very, very hesitant on getting my second shot however having family members die from Covid and a desire to travel, I thought I was doing the right thing. So I waited until this past February…2/7/22 for my second (still considered fully vaxxed believe it or not)….I am so mad and sorry I did it.
It exacerbated my symptoms, increased floaters, horrible visual snow, lights are unbearable…migraines and headaches since I got the shot. Went back to my eye doc. She did a exam, no inflammation, eyes are healthy…even my scarring from my infection last year has gone clear (she said that doesn’t usually happen to people)
Anyway, I am struggling and it makes me sad to see others on here as well. I do have hope, as mine did subside somewhat in the past and it’s amazing what our bodies can do…but I will never get over the fact the Pfizer vaccine caused this. It’s life altering.
Feel free to reach out if anyone has questions. Sending hope
-SJ
@sj86 thank you for sharing your difficult experiences.
I, too, have been wrecked by 2 Pfizer shots in April 2021.
So many issues, none resolved. New severe headaches every day that started a few weeks ago.
Do you have gastric issues? I do and sometimes I throw up. Lost over 20 lbs and the thought of most foods makes my stomach turn.
I pray we see a resolution soon.
Feel your pain, Barb….the headaches come and go for me
To be honest, I’ve never really thought about it however I have had some bouts since then…no throwing up
Mostly it’s my vision, hoping it straightens up
