Ruth Goldberg is a Meniere’s patient who lives in Israel. She created a website about vestibular disorders in Hebrew. Ruth says:

In the beginning of January 2015 I revisited vestibular.org and found new articles that explained all the symptoms that I have been having. I found in it comfort and strength. I decided that it was time to build a support site for Vestibular Disorders in Hebrew.

I would like to thank VeDA, as well as Dr. Timothy Hain, and Dr. Jerry Ben David in Israel, who have given me permission to use their materials.

The site has been built completely voluntarily and is based on VeDA’s approach of giving unbiased accurate information that is easy to follow, much of it is translated to Hebrew. The Hebrew site is linked back to this site for extra information in English. The various sections are:

Vestibular disorders in general: What and why, symptoms ,triggers, the balance system, the major diagnoses, the neurological and psychological effects and affects;

  1. Finding help and support: Vestibular rehabilitation therapy, diet, meditation and the neurological and psychological support;
  2. Special information such as tests, other sites, support groups, books etc.;
  3. Taking a stand: signing petitions, creating a registry, lobbying for better services and creating a seminar for us in Israel;
  4. An art gallery related to the vestibular symptoms;
  5. A blog to respond and give suggestions; and
  6. A section for Humor.

Even if you don’t know Hebrew you are invited to look at the art gallery that relates to vestibular symptoms, and you are welcome to contribute your own work.
