@margaret2022: I was on sertraline. I decided to come off it (actually to switch to something new) as I felt I’d been on it so long that my body had gotten used to it and it wasn’t as effective anymore. I’m retrospect probably a mistake. Although I still think the vaccine has had more to do with my tinnitus spike than the SSRI situation.
What’s the new one you switched too? Just curious cuz I suffer from tinnitus as well from the vaccine. The neurologist I saw prescribed me olanzipine his theory is that he wants to calm my nervous system down and see if that helps. He’s heard of vaccine injuries but the ones he worked with were much more extensive such as a man not being able to walk or feed himself talk properly loss of motor function. He wanted me to try it for a month. I am afraid it may spike up my ears as well there is so much sensitivity right now too I’m not sure how it’ll affect that
@ksharky13 I still have it Intermittently. But it’s 1000 times better than it was. I can handle everything so much better now. And you’re stress does bring it out. so I just try to stay stress-free. And when I get ill the symptoms kick back in. But I know how to deal with them now. So it’s not that bad. I do a lot of meditation. I do breathing exercises and cold therapy by Wim Hof. acupuncture and massage. Eat a very good diet. Lots of rest. Zinc vitamin D vitamin C and a multivitamin. I just learned through all this how to take really good care of my body.
@margaret2022 Any improvement in your T?
no it got worse after my audiologist did a course of hearing tests on me making different sounds in my ears and flapping my ear drums. And then my neurologist prescribed me which I thought was prednisone but it turns out he only prescribed me olanzipine which he thinks should calm my nervous system down. He said I can’t take both at the same time. So it went to another level and the past 6 days I’ve been experiencing a higher sensitivity to my ears. And it’s like the beginning and it did settle down a bit where I was able to tolerate my dogs nails on the floor when he walked but now I can’t stand it and the sound of my husbands voice it’s so deep hurts my ears.
I am currently sitting in life labs waiting for my blood test for COVID antibodies and then a acupuncture at 1pm. I also booked for next weeks as well. I can’t wait. Wonder why I am having a relapse? I haven’t been exposed to any loud sounds recently. I did consume foods high in salt and sugar recently. My eyes are what seems to be acting up right now too there’s more pain to my eye and I have an neuro ophthalmology appointment sept 23rd.
Just came across these resources put out by the US Department of Health and Human Services for long Covid patients:
@margaret2022 Yes I remember you telling me it was after that appointment with your doctor. I took prednizone and it didn't help. Mine has gotten worse too, very high I don't know if it has to do with food, but I don't think so. I have a few days of relief and higher and over time I've been trying to get used to it.

Anything in Ontario Canada for post vaccine injury
Hi, I recently met with an Infectious Disease specialist and he acknowledged something went wrong in my system when I took the vaccine. Because I was affected on my third Moderna jab and no abnormal issues in the first two, he actually suggested that I take another mrna vaccine (maybe Pfizer) to let my body reset my system so that the antibodies stop attacking my good cells. I’m not too confident with this approach, what if new problems are introduced? I’m already as depressed as I am now, suffering on my 9th month.
Anyone went ahead with this approach before? Taking another jab after symptoms started.

Wow that’s such a risky approach cuz one he could be right or this could get worse and create a storm of more symptoms. Do update us. Did he say this worker successfully in the past with another vaccine? He is the expert there for sure but if he has evidence to back this theory up then what if ehh such a hard pill to swallow. Keep us posted.
I was actually thinking that in all my thoughts of how to get out of this...what if every so months now we need another jab to keep things normal..... But in reality im not going anywhere near it ever again... That is really risky, what if it makes things worse that would be really bad....
@stars182: My tinnitus at this point is as bad as it was when I got my first sudden on-set back in late January, which happened 6 weeks after my Moderna booster. It resolved to a very low level before I had my first relapse. And the. Resolved again until about 6-8 weeks ago, when it came back a lot. I do think it’s a relapse of the vaccine side effect, even though it’s been 7 months since the first episode. But I’ve also recently gone through a very stressful time combined with getting off an SSRI. So I can’t really pinpoint the cause of my recent spike but I do lean towards it being vaccine related. Hope I can get it to resolve again. I also have chronic mild head pressure and headache. Been a very frustrating year.
Haven’t been on here inna while….
I had horrible issues that I previously mentioned about 1 year ago that all started 2 weeks post moderna vaccine. The main problems I had were PVCs, Brain fog, increased BP, feeling confused all day, and horrible constant anxiety. These problems lasted for 3 months and slowly but completely went away. ( BTW 27 year old male with no prior health issues)
I went back to my normal life with my wife and son and thought this horrible vaccine experience had left my body and was gone for 8-9 months, I had pretty well forgot about it even happening.
About 3 weeks ago I started having chest pains and very odd BPM issues (very low while sitting / sleeping and higher than normal while standing / walking) and along came the intense brain fog / confusion and anxiety. This is really beating me down considering I thought I had recovered and moved on with my life. I’m mainly here to see if anyone has experienced a relapse after feeling 100% better? This time I did get an antibody test which showed me having >2500 and I’m pretty sure that’s as high as that test went. The only thing I can come up with is, that after the vaccine i had a very high antibody count which eventually lowered and then possibly got exposed to Covid which trigger the antibodies to spike back up resulting in my relapse. Other than that I have absolutely no clue as to what’s happening to me and it makes me feel like I’m loosing my mind.
I’m not making this post to discourage anyone that’s dealing with symptoms or that’s feeling better as I pray that we all have relief soon. I’m just looking for anyone that has been in the same boat as me to hopefully find answers and relief. I appreciate any reply’s and thoughts.
Have a blessed day,
Very very interesting with The antibody test levels. I got mine done on Friday this past weekend I’m really curious to see my results 4 months post vaccine my levels were 1927 u/ml. Another girl on here said hers were like 800’s 4 or 5 months post. I was like why were mine so fricking high. Wonder if the severity of symptoms were different I should see what hers were. So sept 10th marks 8 months since symptoms sterted but 9 months post vaccine.
I really wish this would just all go away such a life changing thing for me. A lot I can’t do anymore. So frustrating.
