An interesting commentary about Covid vaccines, VAERS reports, etc.... (I don't know anything about this politician, nor am I into politics.) The writer is into awarding "Pinnochio awards", but I'm just not sure that they're all deserved...? 🤔
Hi! So far, I haven't received the bill. I think my insurance covers it. If I hadn't gotten the prescription from my doctor and just asked the urgent care for the test, I don't know if my insurance would have covered it. I'll report back if I end up getting a bill. Take good care.
I had the Moderna vaccine on 1/14. The shot appears to have triggered symptoms I had from Lyme disease over 15 years ago. On 1/15 I had mild tinnitus, followed by tingling in the left side of my face, pressure in different parts of my head, occasional twitching in my lips, tingling in my head, and for about a week, tingling in my lower legs and feet. These symptoms minus the tingling in my lower legs, lasted for 3 months and then went away. However, at the end of the 3 months I had the worst case of vertigo I have ever had with nausea. In the past I have had BPPV, but this was far worse than any previous episode and the Epley maneuver only made it worse. I went for vestibular therapy and was told that the crystals in my ears were stuck in the horizontal canal and that the Epley maneuver would not help. The therapist did another maneuver and two days later I saw major improvement. In total I had severe vertigo for about 8 days. A week later I went to my ENT who noted that I still had mild dizziness and balance issues. He prescribed Promethazine 25mg for a month. I subsequently saw my primary care doctor who wanted me to continue this medication for a second month. All of this treatment is working for me and I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I should note that my primary care doctor did not want me to have the second shot. I suggested and the doctor agreed that I should have a Covid antibody test in a couple of weeks to see if I have some level of immunity. I still feel that I need to have full protection, if only for future travel requirements, but I fear trying again.
@thenystagmus Hi, sounds like you've done enough exercise tackling your yard again. I know what you mean about being wary of getting on your bicycle though. That's why I'm not driving for now, these symptoms have affected my confidence too. I have a Henry vaccum cleaner, we don't get on very well, he has large eyes and a smile on his face, he doesn't fool me though, I keep him shut away in a cupboard until I can face his smug grin.
Had a relatively good day today until this evening when I had stomach cramps and sickness. Of course the panic kicked in, headache started and I was feeling hot and sweaty like I was going to pass out. I calmed down and the cramps and everything else eventually passed. Probably overindulged with the mayonnaise on my salad and cream on my strawberries, at least I hope that's what it was. Have had two fairly good days though as far as dizziness is concerned, some weird head moments but nothing as bad as it usually is.
Hoping for better days for us all!🙏😊
Has anyone noticed if their vaccine side/adverse effects have affected their weakest spots? My weak spots are my migraines, neck aches, back ache and knee aches. Since having the vaccines these problem areas of mine have been targeted and my aches and pains have intensified in these areas.
@jeanieb I'm new here--joined because of your question as to whether anyone's is subsiding. I got my 2nd vaccine on Friday (at about 3pm), and got a long list of reactions--one of which was the dizziness, which was severe yesterday. I'm still having problems with it but like most of the other symptoms, it seems to be slowly residing now. I did not have dizziness with the first shot, but did have flu-like symptoms. I have more than 10 health conditions, with the biggest issues being Small Fiber Neuropathy, Rheumatoid Arthritis; [suspected by my neurologist] fibromyalgia, and am prone to infections (including ear infections). My last ear infection was around 2018 (I realize this is a while ago), but I have had frequent issues with my left ear ever since, although no cause has been yet determined, despite numerous MRI's and other tests. My neuromuscular specialist also suspects that I have some form of narcolepsy (in a recent sleep study, I woke up 32 times and never obtained REM sleep).
On Friday I had very little side effects (just a sore arm, fatigue, and noticeably irregular heartbeats). Saturday into Sunday (around 6am), I had: fever, chills, hot sweats, cold sweats, nerve pain, extreme headache or migraine, body aches, itchy and inflamed where I got the shot, fatigue and general weakness, nausea, I almost threw up a couple times, and cramps. I was also severely dizzy, starting sometime early Sat (around 1am) and am still slightly dizzy now (started improving around 4pm). I found that a med I am on for nausea helped somewhat with the vertigo sensations, but the biggest help seems to be a lot of rest. I will update if/when this goes away.
@tabby yes, mine have been targeted as well. This is because that's where you immune system is over-actively attacking your body on a regular basis, I'm told (I have rheumatoid arthritis, a migraine disorder, and a herniated disc in my neck, among many other things). Do you have an autoimmune condition?
Guys I keep hearing Antihistamines help....I am in Canada
What did you take and helped you? I have some Antihistamines (my husband took them in the past) and not sure which ones to take. I am willing to try anything
I took allegra 180 and citrizine (2 pills per day). But I also take those on a regular basis because of my irregular allergies and parasthesia itching.
has your doctor considered beta blockers? i cut out caffeine and started on half beta prograne 80mg once a day and haven't had dizziness for six weeks straight. that was after twelve weeks of dizziness.
I was very surprised to learn that in Israel those that are eligible for Covid vaccination are only those that have not had Covid infection! Thus, the percentage of those vaccinated is calculated from the pool of those eligible, that is, those that have not been infected.
This study from 4/20/21 compares the level of protection for those that have had Covid infection with those that have had Covid vaccination, which is reported to be basically equal to each other.

I finished the week of supplements about 4-5 days ago. I felt mostly back to normal around the end of the second day of taking them.
@rosi12 I had my second moderna shot on 5-6-2021,This am 5-30-2021 I had a bout with vertigo it only lasted a few minutes but I am glad it happened when I was laying in bed not going up or down steps or worst yet driving. I am now a experiencing some dizziness. A search of Moderna vaccine side effects showed that I am not the only one having these side effects
Yeah, me searching everyday about these symptoms is making me go crazy...
But then today I am starting to feel chest pain but I did blood test and chest x-ray few times and all came out normal, so idk anymore seriously.
Just praying for these symptoms to go away...
I'm resisting the "going crazy" symptom!🤨 Yeah, I hate to be pestering my doc, but if this new ear pain business keeps up for me, I'm thinking of shoving the knowledge of it over on them... Yes, and continuing 🙏 As out of control as things seem to be at times, I do still believe...

Oh myyy! I googled your vacuum cleaner, and you weren't kidding! What a gas! And there's a Netty and a Charles, and another one, too ...and they all have Eyes and Smiles!! 😊
I hope your feeling bad today was just due to what you ate. With this nausea, my digestion and I haven't been on good terms with each other much of this adventure. I do hope I'm going to get away with the homemade veggie pizza I made tonight without too big of an uproar! And, hoorays for your dizziness being somewhat tamed today! Yes, better days for us all, I hope also!🙏👍
